Wait Until Those Born Before 1945 Are Dead

 I received a piece of memorabilia today that is also a piece of history. It came in one of those e-mails that is forwarded a hundred times with a request to keep it going.

The pictures below are all posters that were displayed during WWII. I grew up with these images and the message was very clear. My parents, who were legal immigrants lived by the principles espoused by these posters. If they are hard to see or read in the size they are in, try double clicking on them with the left button. You’ll be surprised by how clear they become.

In this day, when the country is debating the virtues of  a new Health Care Reform bill, it seemed to me that receiving these posters was a reminder of our heritage. It certainly reminds me of the price we paid for our liberty. Currently, we are faced with an administration whose plan for the country runs eerily parallel to the ones we fought during WWII.

Those of you who were born after 1945 will not understand what I am talking about. The Democratic Socialist Republic of Germany proposed health care reforms similar to the ones being pushed upon us today. The Marxists who took over Eastern European countries, confiscated personal properties and socialized everyone, and everything. The experiment paralyzed Eastern Europe for generations.

I hear POTUS  now using religion as a new strategy to sell the pig in a poke program. He is laying a guilt trip on the religious to empathize the bill into reality. This comes from a man who believes in killing unborn babies, He is also the one who came up with the brainstorm to save money by making our military people pay for their own health care. Thank God he changed his mind on that one.

The posters below represent the way ideas and issues were communicated in the early 1940’s. For all the youngsters out there, that was before the advent of  TV, personal computers, Internet, Facebook, and Twitter. 

I recommend the following strategy to the liberal left, and Barack Obama. If you want to make the USA into a Fascist country, wait until everyone who was born before 1945 is dead.  Look at all of these posters and read some world  history to learn how stupid life was under Nazi-ism, Marxism, and Fascism. Then decide if you want to meet the same fate as the leaders of those isms met.

What choice do I have? Can I fire Medicare?  Will the government give me a rebate so I can buy private insurance? Don’t give me the argument that the seniors are all fired up because they are protecting their beloved government health care program. Most of us would dump Medicare in a New York minute if we were allowed to do so. It won’t happen. Uncle would have to give up too much control. They give a shit about our welfare. All uncle and his congressmen care about is taking  our liberty, and building their own personal wealth. If SSA were eliminated it would save 229 billion dollars a year. If that wealth were to be redistributed to the 39 million Medicare insured, each would receive $5600.00. I think I could find a comparable or better  private health care policy for that premium.  

I  protest the new Obamacare, not because I don’t want people to have health care, but because Obamacare is evil. Read the bill.  There is nothing in the words to say that it will fund abortion, but abortion is a medical procedure and babies will be aborted as a medical procedure, and paid for by you and me. No, there is nothing in the words to say there is a ‘Death Panel,’ but there is something called ” The National Health Care Board.  This illustrious Board will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment.” Obama continues to demonize private insurance companies for giving the insured a hard time on claims, but he fails to explain what role this Health Care Board will be doing about our claims.  Why doesn’t Obama just eliminate health care for everyone?  He’ll save a bundle. He doesn’t belong in the business anyway.

How about another great liberal idea, it’s called “The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is “to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs.” An admirable effort to destroy drug companies and medical research facilities. More jobs lost, more brains willl leave the country. Where is all this going?

Get me the hell out of all government run or mandated programs ASAP.

Doctor Death Advises a Fascist

The president’s chief medical adviser is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Obama’s chief of staff.  Dr Emanuel has a bizarre concept of life. Emanuel and  Kevorkian are brothers of a kind. In Emanuel’s philosophy, life belongs only to the healthy, and the young. Somehow, Emanuel’s brain has become infused with fecal matter. To him, life is expendable. How a jew can think this way is beyond comprehension.

In a recent speech given at a Congressional dinner by David Janda, MD, a highly respected orthopedic surgeon and author, Dr Janda warns of the impending danger associated with the Obama Health Care plan. He describes the plan in one word, “fascist.”

My mind is graphics oriented, and when I read about BHO’s advisor and his radical ideas, a clear picture came into mind. Combine Emanuel’s concept for who is to be saved, with Barack’s plot to enslave us, and a picture unfolds below.

Specter Really Doesn’t Get It, or Maybe He Doesn’t Want To

I watched Arlen Specter’s town hall meeting yesterday, beginning to end. I was proud of my fellow Americans who came well prepared. They knew the contents of the proposed health care bill. Most of those asking questions were citing paragraphs by number. Specter categorically did not have a clue as to what they were talking about.  Out of twenty plus questions, Arlen was eloquent on one that he  was prepared for. Most of his answers were terse, and flip. He showed an arrogance by continuously looking at his watch. On one question, the man literally ran away from the questioner; distancing himself as much as possible.  The meeting was not raucous, it was rather polite. The questions were all about legitimate concerns, and well phrased. There was no finger pointing or shouting down. Many questions evoked a standing ovation from the crowd. Out of a room full of people, only one made a positive statement on the need for reform, the remaining questions concerned cost, care rationing, complicated language in the bill, and  discontent about representatives who are not listening to their constituancy.

Today, I watched a sound clip of Arlen Specter answering a question put to him from Harry Reasoner.  I couldn’t believe my ears. Specter denounced protesters as not typical Americans.  What I saw being vented by the people  was  the same frustration that I feel. It is the same frustration felt by all of the people attending Tea Parties, and town hall meetings. I guess I’m not a typical American.

No I’m not. I am a frustrated old man who sees his great country going down the toilet by the likes of our own representatives who are not listening. They absolutely do not get it.

Here is my proposal. If the people of Pennsylvania elect this guy Specter again, the state deserves to be leased to North Korea and Iran as a Nuclear test site.

Outsourcing Health Care?

The trend toward outsourcing in business has not peaked yet. I am sure that outsourcing will become a major part of health care reform. It has been evident for several years now, that where it is possible, outsourcing is the name of the game. Physicians send us to a vendor for cat-scans and MRIs. That one is obvious, it takes allot of money to pay back expensive imaging equipment. The vendors can make money if the volume of tests is high enough to make it work. My own primary care doctor outsources stress tests. He has a company come into his office once a month to do all of them on one day. The patients line up like birds on a wire to wait for a turn on the tread mill. Outsourcing makes good sense for the right kind of procedure.

It occurred to me that another valuable opportunity to outsource  is a service that costs every community tons of money; i.e. 911 calls. It won’t be long before we dial 911 for our personal emergency, and we will reach an unintelligible source on the other end of the call, most likely in India. Can you imagine the fun we will have with that one?
