I’m Pissed

A week ago, my doctor prescribed that I get a medical test to find the cause of one of my many problems. Today, I called the local hospital to schedule the test. A pleasant woman took my information and asked if she could put me on hold for a minute to check the medical necessity of this test. “Sure,” I said. She went away for more than a few minutes. When she did return she apologized and said, “I’m sorry sir, but I am having trouble finding a code for this test. Please hold again while I talk to someone about a code. “Sure,” I said again. Another long silence. Finally she returned and said, “I can not figure out if  this test is medically necessary; I will have to fax your doctor for more information. Knowing full well what was going on, I kept my cool and asked “what happens if there is no code for medical necessity?”

“Your insurance will not pay and you will be liable for the cost.”

“Just out of curiosity, what is the cost of this test?”

“It is $1421.40. Do you want me to ask your doctor for the medical necessity?”

“Yes, of course, please do.” I hope my doctor understands his judgement is being over-ruled by a ACA computer. Maybe I should suggest he go back to medical school to learn what new-age medicine is all about.

“Please call us back within a couple of days to learn what the last word is.”

“I will do that.”

All the while the rusty wheels in my head are turning faster, and faster. The Obama Care effect has finally showed up. I suggest to my liberal friends who brag about the free medical care they got by voting for Obama, be aware. When you reach my age or older, they put you on the medical unnecessary list. Just take an aspirin and skip going to the doctor for help. You no longer matter enough for Uncle to spend money on you.

No one heard the facts when the Obama Care fiasco ran through the country like an Ebola virus gone wild. All they heard was “free.” The one fact I heard is that Obama stole 500 billion dollars from the Medicare fund toward the Affordable Care Act. What grinds my ass is all the talk about healthcare being a right. Just today, I heard Joe Biden mouthing about healthcare being a right. What also grinds my ass is all the bull shit about equal rights for everybody; except, that is, for the aged. Free health care for the aged means when you are over 75 you should schedule yourself to die because you will begin to cost Uncle some serious money. If there ever was an argument for age discrimination the ACA is it.

So, my liberal friends, enjoy your free healthcare while you are young and healthy. I hope it is everything you ever dreamed of, and keeps you alive and well until you become 75.

Did you receive your Medicare Handbook for 2015 yet? If you have already received yours in the mail please turn to page 12 and go down to the bottom of the page and read Find out what you pay for Medicare (Part A and Part B) . It states that the premium and deductible amounts were not available at the time of printing. It further states you may call 1-800-633-4227 to get the most up-to-date info.

I did just that and talked with a Medicare representative. She told me that they probably would not have those figures in until the end of the first week or possibly the second week of November. Now, let that sink in.

As soon as she stated that to me I replied , My, isn’t that convenient for the Obama Administration to actually hold off on those figures until after the 2014 election results. There was dead silence on the other end of the line. I told her thank you and that I would call back.

I may be wrong, but I really think that I am right!

You see on our Social Security increase for next year we are only receiving an increase of around 1%. Even the military are getting just over 1%. You can bet after the November 4th election the increases for Medicare A & B will be greater than any 1%. That is why they are delaying what the increases will be. Because if they had put it in that handbook, any elderly would be voting against the Democrats.

So anyone voting for the Democrats in the forthcoming elections deserves to get the increases that are coming after November 4th.

Since I already passed Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel’s (architect of Obama Care) optimum age to die (75) I am a Zombie, but I did not find any references in the Medicare 2015 book on benefits for Zombies.

I received the above message as an e-mail from my brother who is quite concerned about costs as all seniors are. This delay in announcing the premiums for 2015 falls right in line with earlier Obama Care announcements.

To be sure I was not being duped again, I called the number above to check things out.

Here is what I learned. Contrary to the information in the scare message, the agent gave me the costs and deductibles for each of my plans A, B, and D.

Here they are:

Medicare A-Doctor visits-FREE (in line with Obama Care) the deductible remains the same.

Medicare B-Hospital stays-$104.90/mo unchanged from 2014, the deductible goes to $1216.

Medicare D-Prescription plan-here is where things got interesting. The agent asked for my address,  county, and drug store. Strange, I thought. She returned with the following. My monthly premium for the prescription plan is $48.90, the deductible is $275, and the quarterly cost of my drugs will be $102.62.

Now that I know Obama did not with hold this information before the election I feel obligated to vote Democrat across the board for this gift, NOT!

I will not vote Democrat except for maybe one office. It seems our Sheriff, named Paul Kaupas is retiring. He hired his cousin Ken Kaupas from the State Police a short time ago, and soon afterwards promoted him. Ken Kaupas gets pension from the State for his service with the State Police. He will receive another pension for his tenure working for the Sheriff, and if elected, he is entitled to another pension as Sheriff. I lost track, is that double or triple dipping? Somehow this seems unfair and unethical, but it is perfectly legal. What makes me sad is that Kaupas is a Republican and he is as dirty as any Democrat ever. This is a normal process for Illinois politicians and for School Superintendents too. State of Illinois political retirees live a pretty fat life on our tax dollars.

In another case, our Senator Dick Durbin seems clean, but is he? His wife works as a lobbyist in Washington and gets some pretty fat paychecks doing so. It seems the Senator knows exactly who to hire for the best paying jobs. Durbin went to Springfield 34 years ago as a former teacher, now he is one of the richer guys in Illinois thanks to his enterprising wife.

Somehow the thing reeks of skunk to me.

Photo ID’s

This week, between Peg and myself we’ve been in doctor offices four times. Each different doctor required a check-in which consisted of:

1. a photo of the patient

2. insurance cards copied

3. signatures on statements that we agree to pay in blood if Medicare does not cover our visit. Apparently, the doctors do not yet know if Medicare covers what they prescribe. I wonder if Dr. Death knows?

The photo really caught my attention. For what possible reason could a doctor need your photo? The doctor sees what you look like each time you visit. In my case he even knows my name and calls me Joe. My mind worked overtime and finally the little light-bulb came on, you know the old-fashioned kind of Edison bulb with tungsten filaments in them, not the curly fluorescent kind loaded with deadly mercury. Answer this question: who in the health care system does not know what you look like? As of January 1, 2013, parts of the PPACA became effective. So the answer is, Obama does not know what you look like. I shuddered each time the shutter clicked, because now my ugly likeness is going into a national database. Most likely this is one database that Homeland Security will share with the DOJ, FBI, CIA, ICE, IRS, SSA, Secret Service, the Frankfort Police, the Will County Sheriff, the Illinois State Police  and every other big brother organization wanting to look into your life without you knowing it.

A second light bulb went off a few seconds later with a new question. Why is it that my picture is in my health file, on my driver’s license, my firearm owners ID, and the pass I use to travel on Metra at a discount without discrimination, and not on my voter registration card?

The DOJ defends their argument not to use picture ID’s for voter registration because somehow it discriminates against certain people, and as such keeps them from the voter rolls. Yet, many government agencies require these same people to have photo id’s to drive, to see a doctor, to own a gun, and to use public transportation. In Illinois the libs have passed the motor-voter law so you can register to vote when you apply for a driver’s license which requires a photo. Illinois recently, passed a new law allowing illegal aliens to get a driver’s license. Guess what? Each illegal will be asked if he wants to register to vote at the same time. The same photo taken for the driver’s license can easily be duplicated for a minimal cost for use on the voter registration id. Taking two pictures at one time is a technology problem beyond the comprehension of Congressional leaders. (Remember we voted them in.)

There hasn’t been a new light going on above my head with an answer to that one.

I think this question warrants a letter to my Senators and Congressman, don’t you?

Too Far To Turn Back? My Ass

The campaign rhetoric is really desperate. Obama wants four more years to completely destroy America. Even if we change course into a more positive direction it will take us a hundred years to undo all the damage he has done. Just taking care of the division between blacks and whites will take that long. There is no doubt in my mind that any gains the blacks have made to gain equality has been undone by Obama’s class warfare. The war on the rich by demonizing them has not been so prevalent since Louis XV in France. We all know how that turned out.

Another hole we must dig out of is the blatant disregard for the laws. In a nation guided by the rule of law, our president has refused and in many cases told his Attorney General to ignore them. Take for instance the law on protecting the borders. He has literally opened the southern border and attacked Arizona with law suits to block any attempt to keep their citizens safe. Arizona asked for federal help to deal with border protection. He sent a small cadre of border patrol agents to protect a five hundred mile long space. How about ignoring New Black Panthers from intimidating polling places? What about gun running to drug cartels in the hopes to make a case against our second amendment rights. What about his latest error in failing to protect US citizens serving the country in embassies?

The real question is what more can he do in four more years? Well, for starters there is Cap and Trade another tax designed to bankrupt companies. There is immigration reform which will officially overload the welfare system. There is abdication of our gun rights to the United Nations by treaty. There is the Islamization of America by requiring schools to teach Islam. His Justice Department Judges attempt to make Sharia law in direct contradiction to the Constitution under separation of church from state. On the flip side of Sharia is the attack on religious freedom of Christians. One of my favorites is his disregard for seniors. He has deliberately raped the Medicare trust fund to fuel his Obama Care. I see this as a Human Rights violation and as discrimination against senior citizens. Don’t we have a right to the health care mandated by Lyndon Johnson and the Great Society?

I see his disregard for working with a lawful budget a disgrace. He argues that he has presented a budget, but Congress overwhelmingly rejected it. Did he re-present an acceptable budget? No.

What I see  happening is that if we give President Obama another four years it will be to put him through the stress of IMPEACHMENT.

Another secret revealed about the new health care act. This one is called the Eight Billion Dollar Coincidence.

This video points out the cost of delaying information about cuts to senior health plans until after the election. Coincidence? Not!

What is the morality of using tax payer dollars to stick a knife into the backs of  seniors. All the while campaigning about how the opposite party will take their Medicare away from them.

This little item is the second fact revealed regarding the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The first was taking 700 billion dollars away from Medicare to pay for PPACA, now this plot to spend 8 billion to hide another rape of the system.
