As usual, Maxine is dead right. Why would we believe the simpletons of government can do the job better? They toy with a mountain of our tax dollars as though it is sand. That is the real problem, they have too many of our dollars to handle. It is just too easy for a few thousand of them to stick to their fingers while they run their hands through the pile.

The last time we had bank bail outs was during the omnipotent Obama’s term as ruler. He had this queer little man named Barney Franks in charge of the committee to oversee the banking system. What we see today is the law Barney enacted to make sure this never happens again in action.

So much so for wise Democrats who know how to handle everything better than anybody else in the planetary system.

Open Borders?

What is an open border? Just what does that term mean? I just compared the area of Europe to the United States, and Europe is just slightly larger in area than the USA.

(United States is 9,833,000 square kilometers while Europe is 10,180,000 square kilometers—however, European countries are closer in size to eastern states in America (which are smaller and closer together than western states).

A few years ago, in the 1990’s my wife Barb and I took a trip to Europe and toured Prague, Salzburg, Munich, and Frankfurt. Prague was still in the Soviet Union and when we crossed into Austria we had a border stop. Our tour bus waited in line as the Austrian border guards check passports and visas. Most countries in Europe are small like our Eastern states. When a European travelled from Germany to England for instance he might have to cross two or three borders. Each time he would be stopped to check his credentials. Imagine a United States where every state had a closed border (Every state does have a border and each State respects the boundaries.), and we had to carry passports and get Visa’s to visit our relatives in  another part of the country. I think we would be very upset.

By the year two thousand Europe opened it’s borders so people could move freely from country to country without hesitation. That was a major improvement for Europeans. In other words open-borders made Europe more like the United States.

Here we sit in 2018 with the Democrats using open borders as their policy to make America great. Except, this time opening our last borders with Mexico and Canada would be a huge mistake.  Until we revise our immigration laws to make coming here easier we must keep the borders closed. The revised law must allow us to track everyone who enters. The Mexican border is the only one that is so wide open. The Canadian border is open also but about half of it is an impassable water hazard called the Saint Lawrence river, and the Great Lakes.

The population of Canada is 35 million of which 5% (1.75 million) live in poverty. The population of Central and South America is 472.5 million of which 16.5% (77.5 million) live in poverty. The likelihood of illegal immigration is greater from the Mexican border than it is from the north. In addition, Canada has some safety-net policies to take care of those in need. People want to leave Central and South America because of poverty, oppressive regimes, and socialism.

If someone comes from Asia or Europe by plane they must pass through immigration at the airport. We can track them and check them, but when someone is allowed to walk into the country at will, how do we know who they are, why they have come, and what their intentions are when they get here? We have to create a new Ellis Island type of entry that will vet entrants coming from the south. My parents entered via Ellis Island and were properly vetted before being allowed to enter. A lot of migrants were returned (deported) back to Europe for various reasons. Many of them because they carried a disease we didn’t want to deal with. Today, we allow people with terrible contagious diseases to come including the Ebola virus. We will never know what the migrants from the south bring in.

At this moment in history our country is booming economically. We need workers. They will most likely have to come from Central and South America, Africa, and the Mid-East. If we do this properly we will give ourselves enough time to allow them to assimilate more gradually than a mass arrival would. What good would seven million new people who can’t speak the language, or know the rules, drive, read write, etc. do to fill the seven million job vacancies we have. Business is business and they would fill the jobs, but at whose expense? Ours. Poor service, lousy products, crazy demands for working conditions (prayer breaks five times a day in special prayer rooms), squat toilets, the list can go on for ever.

What kind of argument is there to support open-borders except to destroy the sovereignty of the USA.? Mexico surely wants to reacquire land ceded to the USA by treaty during the Mexican-American war. It is my opinion that Mexicans who want the land back don’t want to pay us for it, but are at war with us and violate the treaty signed between countries. Other than that, I see not one valid argument for wanting an open border with Mexico. 

I do understand that socialists are so desirous of bringing their utopian misery to the United States they want to drive the U.S. into bankruptcy to do it. They follow the Cloward-Piven theorem, that using the welfare laws and policies of a country to overload the social systems, the country can be bankrupted and taken over by a dictator. So anti-American liberal factions encourage millions of poor people (living on $4.50/day) to enter under the premise of finding a better life. I don’t think it would take much more to overload the welfare, healthcare, and educational systems. We have seen the cost of illegal immigration rise to tens of billions of dollars in the recent years.

It is simple folks, we don’t want open borders, we don’t want socialism, we don’t want communism, or any other failed ideology to take away our liberties. If that were to happen we will see a reverse flow of immigrants wanting to leave the country.

I see only one route to take and that is to defend to the death our current liberties and borders.

Blue State In a Sea of Red

Ever since Tuesday night Lake Michigan has been rising. No, it is not due to global warming it is from the Democrats crying about their candidate losing big. Every time I see the national election map and see the big blob of blue surrounded by Red States it makes me cry too. My vote meant nothing toward electing Trump. Hillary got 69% of the vote and Trump got thirty. I could have stayed home and had the same effect on the election. Even our Republican Senator lost his job. There are times when I want to move out of Illinois to get away from all the blue, but I have too many roots here and I am anchored forever.

I wish to thank our own Community Dis-organizer for showing us how strong the Constitution really is. Even with his mighty pen, and the entire government supporting him, his efforts to damage the sacred document managed only to make some small dents. Hopefully, his successor will undo the damage with his equally powerful pen. Our job now is to re-construct the principles of the document, and beat back any new affronts to take it down.

Back in 2008, I never thought the battle to take back the country would take eight years, but thankfully, the Tea Party movement stuck to it and managed to wake us up to who is in charge. Without the constant effort of my Tea Party and all the others across the country Hillary would be dancing a jig with Bill like Irish leprechauns.

The one principal mistake I saw in Obama’s run was his transformation of the greatest country in the world. “Into what?” It doesn’t make sense to destroy the greatest country to make it equal to all the lessor countries, and thus force us to become third class citizens. It makes more sense to help the rest of the world rise to the level of the USA. Unfortunately, Leftists don’t accept capitalism as the way to make it happen. Instead of equal opportunity for all they rather push equal outcomes for all. Communism has never worked in any country where it has been tried. It won’t work now either, but we now have a country full of unemployed over educated young people who have never left the nest to become responsible for their own outcome.

At this point, the United States has almost completed the great give away of American manufacturing to lessor countries like China, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea. The seers of the time sold the idea of sending all our menial manufacturing jobs to these countries because we would need all of our educated people to staff the knowledge sector. We would be the ones teaching the world how to do things. Except of course, that all the motivation to learn how to do things left the country with our industry. Most invention is realized by the need to solve problems. Many of the problems occur during manufacturing. The people needed to solve those problems now live in China, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea.

The leftists are now working on the financial sector. They orchestrated the housing bubble back when Bill Clinton signed a law that encouraged, no, I mean forced lenders to loan, no, to give money to anyone who wanted a house. Never matter that they could not afford a house. The liberal mind-set decrees that it is everyone’s right to own a house. It took a few years to happen, but the bubble finally burst and we were left with a major recession, no, it was a depression worse than the one that occurred in 1929. There I go again spewing history  that no longer applies to modern generations of kids who run up astronomical loans to finish college, and graduate with nonsense degrees which earned them knowledge about everything, but about nothing, nothing useful that is, now they lobby for free tuition too.

When Obama began his transformation, I was invigorated to educate as many people as I could to the perils of his policies. This blog which was going to be a blog that would explore human potential evolved into a teach the world about the evils of Obama’s policy blog. When he was elected the second time, I became depressed and have been so for four years. My personal blog-pieces diminished to almost zero. The depression caused a writer’s block and I reverted to re-blogging other people’s posts that mirrored my own philosophies. Now that Trump has been elected, I am again invigorated to speak freely about the benefits of conservatism.

From a human potential perspective, Donald Trump is a great subject. He knew the mountain he had to climb to become president, but he never let up. He set a goal, and visualized himself winning this election. Those are two key human potential concepts; goal setting, and visualization. There many other steps he used like defining the goal, listing the steps you would have to take to make the goal. He identified all the things he didn’t know, and found answers via experts. His mastery of using all the rules of goal setting and positive thinking is remarkable.

Living in a blue state means that I am constantly bombarded by nonsensical liberal BS. Illinois is among the lowest of the states in jobs, they continue to raise taxes, which only drives people and companies to leave the state. For instance, they put an item on the ballot to change the constitution to force the state to use all money collected from transportation, like gasoline taxes, license fees, tolls etc onto roads and bridges. Sounds good doesn’t it? Except it occurred to me that these taxes now put more money into the treasury than income taxes do. So where will they get money to support all non transportation related expenditures like social programs? You got it, by getting this constitutional amendment passed it gives the royal highness’s in Springfield an excuse to raise taxes. Currently there is talk of raising taxes 33%.

The one thing the election did was to firm up the jobs of all the Democrats currently in charge, and because they won with such a large majority they will argue that they have a mandate to raise taxes to save the state from bankruptcy. The first item on their agenda will most likely be to raise salaries for all state workers, legislators, and administration. Forget the unfunded over bloated pension funds of these same people, teachers, police, and firefighters. The only ones who are middle class in this state work in the public sector.

Imagine Uncle Managing Your Savings

This post has been around the country a few times, and I have read it many times. Somehow I never posted it. The more I read it the more upset I get. In fact, as I read it now, I picked up on something that didn’t register before. The government does not contribute a single cent to your Social Security. It is you and your employer who put in the money. Somehow Uncle plays a shell game and switches the pea to a new shell. The government only protects the money for us, and they do a piss-poor job of it. They say they borrow it and when you need it they will pay it back. That must be where they get the idea that it belongs to them. Read this entire piece and you will understand the process better. The worst part of it is that the government always threatens to default on its Social Security obligations when a shut down is nearing. That is so they can get paid first, by using the money we put into the fund for our retirement.

Remember, not only did you and I contribute to Social Security but your employer did, too.  It totaled 15% of your income before taxes.

If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that’s close to $220,500.

Read that again.

Did you see where the Government paid in one single penny?

We are talking about the money you and your employer put in a Government bank to insure you and me that we would have a retirement check from the money we put in, not the Government.

Now they are calling the money we put in an entitlement when we reach the age to take it back.

If you calculate the future invested value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5% interest (less than what the Government pays on the money that it borrows).

After 49 years of working you’d have $892,919.98.

If you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you’re 95 if you retire at age 65) and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit!

If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you’d have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.

THE FOLKS IN WASHINGTON HAVE PULLED OFF A BIGGER PONZI SCHEME THAN BERNIE MADOFF EVER DID.

Entitlement my foot; I paid cash for my social security insurance!

Just because they borrowed the money for other government spending, doesn’t make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!!

Remember the benefits for members of Congress?

+          free healthcare,

+          outrageous retirement packages,

+          67 paid holidays,

+          three weeks paid vacation,

+           unlimited paid sick days.

Now that’s welfare, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement payments entitlements?  They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives, and now, when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money.

Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? It was supposed to be in a locked box, not part of the general fund.

Sad isn’t it?

99% of people won’t have the guts to forward this.

Obama’s Son Is a Terrorist

Yesterday I posted about Obama’s real son. Today I have to add more information regarding the Oregon shooter. Not only is he half black, half white he is a muslim sympathizer, and tried to leave the country to fight with ISIS in Syria. He is on the CIA watch list as a muslim sympathizer. Isn’t it amazing how the story shifted to the need for gun control laws? I have a suggestion, make all muslims and muslim sympathizers declare their faith on the background check and then refuse to sell them firearms.

The Federal Security Services (FSB) is reporting today that an American black-Islamist terror suspect, who yesterday committed an act of mass murder in the State of Oregon (United States), had been included on a list of 87,000 “known/suspected” Islamic terrorists that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) refused last month to accept from the Federation due to its not being “politically viable in the present atmosphere”.
According to this report, the black-Islamist terrorist who committed this act of terror, Chris Harper Mercer, had previously been indentified by electronic intelligence specialists within the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) as being an Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) adherent after he had attempted to gain passage to Syria via Turkey during the first week of September, 2015.
By the Obama regime refusing to accept this terror list from the Federation, this report continues, Mercer was able to accomplish his terror act when yesterday he killed 9 people and wounded 7others at the Umpqua Community College prior to his being shot and killed by local US police forces.

Most critical to note about this FSB report is that where it ends, the mysterious, and hugely read, Russian publication Reedus (Ridus.ru) continues—and to fully understand this information one must note that Russian intelligence agencies (SVR/FSB) frequently use Reedus to put information into the public sphere that otherwise would have serious international consequences should the government be found to be behind it—thus giving Reedus its current status known as “a Kremlin resource” and an “agency of Orthodox journalism”. And the information relating to the black-Islamist terrorist Mercer “leaked” into Reedus by the SVR/FSB is, to say the least, shocking and disturbing–including that immediately after the Oregon mass shooting, his Internet personal profile was changed from his true identity as an ISIS/ISIL terror s…. Also important to be noted was Mercer’s association with the ISIS/ISIL terrorist Mahmoud Ali Ehsani, who is banned in Russia[Русский], and was one of only two of Mercer’s MySpace “friends” and who praises the Islamic State, calls for the killing of Jews and glorifies in pictures on his MySpace page his rapture of these terrorists.

With the true knowledge of Mercer being known as the black-Islamic terrorist he truly was, information which the Obama regime refused to accept from Russia, his mass terror act in identifying and killing Christians becomes immediately understandable.
As to why the Obama regime and their propaganda media lapdogs are disguising the truth from the American people about this horrific act of Islamic terror against them, especially to the families of the dead and wounded, it is not known—but shouldn’t really surprise anyone as that government has been nothing but a mountain of lies for years.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms said at a press conference Friday that 13 firearms were recovered from the person and the residence of Oregon mass shooter Christopher Harper Mercer.
The 26-year-old who shot and killed nine people at Umpqua Community College Thursday before losing his own life in a shootout with police had legal possession of all the guns, the ATF reported.
The ATF said all the weapons were purchased legally, either by Mercer or his family members. Mercer was also wearing a flak jacket, which included five ammunition magazines.
President Obama has hammered on the theme that America is the only industrialized nation that has repeated mass shootings and he blamed “gun violence” on the nation’s lack of gun control. He has advocated “common sense” proposals such as a universal background check using a centralized database across the 50 states.
What this new information from ATF demonstrates is that the kinds of gun control that the prohibition lobby has been pushing, namely the “universal background checks,” would not have prevented the tragedy in Oregon, said Dave Workman, senior editor of TheGunMag.com.
“The shooter reportedly had a clean record, and according to the ATF, he purchased several of those guns,” Workman said. “All the firearms were legally purchased from a firearms dealer, so background checks would have been involved.”
Obama said he knew he would be criticized for trying to “politicize” the tragic shooting but said that exactly what needed to happen in order to rein in “gun violence.”
But none of the president’s gun restrictions would have prevented Thursday’s mass shooting at the community college, said Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president and founder of the Second Amendment Foundation.
“None of the gun control proposals that Obama or the gun control crowd are proposing would have stopped this terrible tragedy,” Gottlieb said. “They are being intellectually dishonest. They are also being dishonest calling for new ‘gun safety’ legislation. This has nothing to do with gun safety. They know that everyone supports gun safety so they are using that term to manipulate the debate.”
If the president and his allies are successful in exploiting the rash of high-profile shootings, what will happen is law abiding gun owners will be harassed by new laws while thugs like Mercer will continue to cause more sorrow and tragedy, Gottlieb said.
What Gottlieb, Workman and other gun rights advocates have repeatedly advised is that “no gun zones” are what encourage would-be killers to invade a public space such as a school and start shooting.
Umpqua Community College had one security guard who was unarmed.
“Gun control failed miserably here,” said Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America. “The murderer chose a gun-free zone. All but two of our mass murders since 1950 have taken place in gun-free zones.”
CBS and the Associated Press both reported the UCC campus is a gun-free zone, and quoted the college’s security policy, which states: “Possession, use, or threatened use of firearms (including but not limited to BB guns, air guns, water pistols, and paint guns) ammunition, explosives, dangerous chemicals, or any other objects as weapons on college property, except as expressly authorized by law or college regulations, is prohibited.”
According to NBC News, UCC had considered hiring armed security for the campus. School officials ultimately rejected the idea. According to retired UCC President Joe Olson, “We thought we were a very safe campus, and having armed security officers on campus might change the culture.” That “culture” now appears to have been changed, possibly forever.
Meanwhile, others were casting blame on the Republican Party and the National Rifle Association.
Andy Parker, whose daughter Alison was the Virginia television reporter shot to death on live TV in August, penned an emotional column for the New York Daily News, imploring lawmakers to pass responsible gun laws in the wake of a mass shooting Thursday in Oregon. “This has to stop,” he wrote, continuing with the following passage, picking up on Obama’s talking points of “common sense” measures, the exact same points hammered by billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s Every Town Against Gun Violence.
“I was a Reagan Republican years ago. I have slowly watched the party devolve into something Reagan wouldn’t recognize today – nor would he be a part of it.
“Republican legislators across the country refuse to consider common sense measures to prevent the horrific gun violence that kills our loved ones each and every day. By refusing to act, they are aiding and abetting domestic terrorism.
“Shame on them for being the cowards that they are. Is the support of a fringe element of the NRA so important that they are willing to accept our children as collateral damage? We are at war in this country, and we must win – whatever it takes.
“When I heard about this shooting in Oregon, I thought, this can’t be. Not this soon. I knew it would happen again. We are a country with a strong gun culture. But I wasn’t expecting it to be this soon.”
