Here is something to think about! How true!
The American dream in 2022
Both parents wake up in the morning at 4 a.m in a house where they never truly own the property but more or less rent the property off the government by paying property taxes. They say good morning to each other and try to put together a lunch for themselves with food that’s price has increased on average 7% in the last year. They don’t get to see their kids off to school in the morning or welcome them home bc both parents have to work a job where they are making less this year than they were last year bc inflation has gone up 7% in the market but their paycheck only went up 3% bc that’s the national average. Then they proceed down the street in a vehicle where they are forced to pay to register, inspect, and preform maintenance on it yearly, on roads that haven’t been redone in years to a gas station that charges them between a .56 cents and .74 cents per gallon tax to “repair” said roads. Once they get to their place of work they work on average 10 hours per day for 5-6 days a week to then be taxed on that money, all while their government tells them what they must do health wise to come to work to pay those taxes that funds them. After all those taxes are taken out of their paycheck they then must still pay taxes on practically every other transaction of money they do, along with a price increase on every good. They get home in the evening worn out, where they hopefully get to see their children who are being raised by the government due to the fact both parents must work, where the government is grooming them to be the next generation of cattle to milk dry in taxes so the cycle can continue. They turn on the tv while they cook dinner to hear from their government officials that they worked all day to fund tell them how “they are the problem” and cause division across the country and when they are up for re-election convince you why you need them to fix your issues. They turn the tv off and walk upstairs and lay next to their spouse hoping and dreaming that one day in 50+ years if they are lucky to make it that long that they might get to enjoy each other’s company for 5 years together in retirement.
The system is so broken and it’s disgusting. I hope people are waking up to the fact that more government regardless of party isn’t the answer. We don’t need politicians they need us, but somehow that narrative has been lost over time. Something needs to change in this country and it needs to happen quick bc the Nation is a dried out tinder box ready to be lit. I know I can’t be the only person tired of being stepped on in literally every aspect of life. It’s almost like we left a place once in our history bc of over taxation. This isn’t the American dream it’s the American nightmare where you aren’t a free American, you’re a free American to do what you are told. Copied and pasted.

Don’t Cry For Me America

Forgive me for stealing the title from the song written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice for the musical play Evita. A dear friend sent me a video this morning which I have seen many times before and decided to use as the basis for my post. There are so many parallels between the economic and political history of Argentina and the United States that this short video is a scary prediction of the direction and eventual outcome we face.

It is hard to understand why the country is divided almost an exact 50-50 between liberals and conservatives, but it is that way. What is harder to understand is that there is not a very large middle ground where some of the population can see, and argue both sides with compromise. For years we the people have been living with such a population, i.e. one that sees the value in compromise and is happy with the out come. Today, we face completely opposite mindsets. Both conservative and liberal are so set in their philosophy that they cannot even imagine not getting their way. I for one believe the only way to return the country to a manageable sanity is to totally destroy the other side. This would mean a civil war fought to the bitter end with one hundred and fifty million dead all on the same side. Since wars don’t turn out that way it would mean a hundred and fifty million liberals and a hundred million conservatives dead. The picture is not very pretty.

A civil war in the United States today would most likely mean that China would side up with the liberal side and take advantage of the situation. I’m not sure Russia would get into the fray, but they would sure enjoy watching the self-annihilation happen. All of this because one faction believes it is more correct than the other. I for one believe the correct side is the conservative one. To me communism stinks and has proven to be wrong many times over the years. Why the liberals continue to believe in this errant philosophy can only be attributed to mental illness. Of course the liberals see conservatives as being mentally unstable. So, may the best man win.

At this moment I see the liberals with an advantage as they control the military, the leadership power, and a very sympathetic press. It is a lot to overcome. Conservatives believe in the power of ideas, and liberals believe in the power of giving people what they want. The giving side works for a little while, but eventually dives into oblivion as the country goes bankrupt.

In the meantime, how do we fight this war? How can we defeat the evil without nuclear annihilation, and the help of a billion man army feeding themselves with chopsticks? Of course the liberals will say we must use diplomacy, but we know that doesn’t work too good unless one country carries a huge stick and holds it over the head of the other. World Wars One, and Two were fought because one country believed that by creating the perfect race it would lead to the perfect world. We know that didn’t work, but it cost both sides millions of lives to decide it. At the end of WWII a new philosophy entered the picture. The USA and England made a pact with the devil to help beat the Germans and that in turn led to Joe Stalin infiltrating Europe with his marvelous, wonderful political philosophy of communism. That really initiated a third war which we called the Cold War because there were no bullets or bombs involved. Even though the USSR disbanded and we thought our prayers were answered, the underground communists persisted and are beginning to win big. A large number of these communists invaded our schools of higher education and have been teaching our kids how wonderful it is to not have to work for a living and to get free stuff along with five weeks of vacation, and free child care, and free health care, and free food. Experts tell us to look at Norway and Sweden, they are living the high life under the socialist veil. What they don’t understand is that citizens in these countries are taxed, taxed, and taxed to the point of not being able to strip themselves of the yokes that bind them. They are not free to start their own enterprises, they have become slaves to the system. But, they like it! They lead relatively good lives and seem to be happy. Most likely they are happy because the government tells them repeatedly how happy they are. The North Korean fat boy tells his people repeatedly all day long over country-wide speakers how fortunate and happy they are to be starving. China does the same. Chinese seem to be very nationalistic, and happy to be serving dear leader. Just watch some Youtube videos of Chinese people being interviewed about their lives.

If the socialist system is so great then why do Hong Kong and Taiwan, both Chinese populations living in a capitalist world resist socialism so strongly? The answer is obvious, they like freedom and liberty more than the socialist yoke of sameness.

Am I Alone On This?

What in the world is going on? Why is the economy tanking? Why are oil prices rising? Why are there seventy cargo container-ships backlogged at the port in L.A.? Why do so many news flashes pertain to spending trillions of dollars for non-sensical programs? Why is the Attorney General declaring parents who visit a school board meeting as terrorists? Where does it all end and what does it mean to us?

In my opinion there is a large faction of our population that truly believes we will be better off under the thumb of a Chinese dictator. All the signs point toward government dictating everything we do. What ever happened to liberty. Has liberty become an out-dated idea? Does liberty mean we will be faithful to someone who spells out everything that we must do, or think, or write? In my mind liberty means I am free to do as I please within the law. I can work or not work. I can own property, or not. I can travel freely within the country. I can marry who I want when I want. I can speak my mind without fear of retribution. I can own a gun, or guns and use them as I see fit. I can raise a cow in my back yard. I can vote for who I want or not. I am free to choose how I treat my body. In other words, I am not required by government to get permission for anything. Government is needed only to protect my liberties.

Yet, what I see trending is a faction that loves to be under someone else’s control. I see a faction that loves to control people without losing their own rights. I see a faction that believes it is government’s responsibility to feed them, care for them, and entertain them, I don’t. I reject the notion that I need government for anything except fighting off anyone who decides they want to control me.

Communism has found many new words to hide it from the public, like: Democrat, Liberal, Socialist, Progressive, Social Democracy. All of these terms are merely subterfuge for advancing the evil of a select group of self proclaimed elites controlling the common man.

Communists all point at Capitalism becoming rich off the sweat and labor of the common man. What communists fail to tell us is that they live off the common man by taking everything from him. He owns nothing, he has nothing, he is to be subservient to the upper class people who rule. He is not allowed to believe in God, and in places like China, he is not allowed more than one child.

What the communist will never admit is that their policies have never worked. Stalin tried it by killing seventy million people who refused and those he left living finally submitted, but they never really accepted their plight. Eventually, communism goes broke and when they can’t squeeze anymore out of the people they say are loving the system they only make life harder for those they control.

People will argue that Communist China is an example of a socialist system that is a success. What they don’t reveal is that China enjoys some success because they have decided to embrace capitalism within their communist system. Behind the scenes they still control religion, the number of kids you can have, what you can search for on the internet, where you can live, where you can travel, what you can say about government, and how you can live your life.

I am proud to be able to say that I have lived through the most wonderful period of history since 1776. I have witnessed the U.S.A. win wars, become prosperous, change attitudes about race, prohibit alcohol and then reverse the decision when they learned how stupid it was. I’ve seen tremendous growth throughout the country after the government invested in a federal road system in the name of defense. I’ve seen amazing progress throughout the rural areas after the government invested in rural electrification. Ive seen progress in science that put a man on the moon, and is curing cancer, and most recently is protecting us from the Chinese curse of COVID-19. What I have never witnessed was amazing developments from socialist countries. What I have witnessed is poverty, starvation, and subjugation at its best.

So how can I fix it before I leave this earth. I have one vote, but there are 538 elites within our system that control us. I wish I could vote for all 538, but our Constitution doesn’t allow it. I could become a democrat and vote more than once by corrupting the system in my favor, but my conscience won’t allow it, and that is the difference between me and a communist, I have a conscience
