Let Them Eat Cake

“My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks,” said Obama in one of his speeches lecturing bankers.

What he failed to understand is that those same pitchfork-wielding serfs could also turn in his direction. Yep, he got it right, but the pitchforks are coming his way. Twenty–twelve is just 730 short days away.

People are worried that they do not see any strong candidates that can beat him. It is my opinion that we can run a rattlesnake for president and win. It would do less damage to our country than POTUS has already done.  I bet the rattler could prove his citizenship back for several generations too.

Of course the amount of time POTUS has left to serve can be shortened. How many ways are there?

Here are a few:

1. Natural causes. The man does smoke a lot, and the list of diseases that smoking causes is endless, but it won’t happen, he is too young, and only the good die young.

2. By Resignation. Not likely, because he would have to give up the chauffeur, the cook, housekeepers, gardeners, the airplane, the helicopter, the motorcycle escorts, the private basketball court, world travel for the family, and the pay is pretty good if you count what he can steal or get from lobbyists.

3. By impeachment. The congress could use the Twenty-fifth Amendment to the Constitution and declare him mentally incompetent to fulfill the duties of the President. This is also unlikely because the liberal side still worships the ground he walks on, and would never agree on his incompetency even if it is proven that he is out performed by a squirrel.

Nope, we have to do it the hard way, we have to vote him and the remaining traitorous congress out of office. I look forward to the task.

Hand to Hand Combat

Actually, this cartoon does not fairly represent the Elitist Left. They don’t fight fair. They smear, they distort, they take things out of context and rewrite in their favor. Is that good politics? If it is, I don’t want any part of it. Where are the issues? Why aren’t they bragging about the infamous Obama Care, and the big spending, or the number of jobs created? They don’t dare. All I hear is that we will go back to the failed policies of the previous administration that got us into this mess.

I will take four percent unemployment, a surplus in the Treasury, and an economy that was booming during the previous administration. It all changed when the Democrats got control of the House. When Barney and Chris began pushing Fannie and Freddie to give away money to people they knew couldn’t pay back.

Yes, Change is coming but it won’t be the Obama Change. It will be real change for the better. Yes, Hope is coming, but it won’t be the Socialist dream from Obama’s father. It will be a country that works for a decent living.

Yes, we are an exceptional people. We started with a few brave Pilgrims who were not smarter than any other peoples in the world. All they wanted was to live in place where they were free to practice a belief in God. Why did the Pilgrims become so successful in establishing such a great country when the remainder of the world dreamed up really big socialist ideas? Why did Hitler and Stalin implement these great social ideas at the cost of millions of lives? The answer is simple, the leaders wanted power over the minds of the people.

Why are so many other countries still fighting poverty when the people who migrated to North America created such an exceptional system? Why are we the bad guys? Why do we have to redistribute our wealth for the failures of these many countries with corrupt governments?

Just for fun, I did some math. I asked myself what would happen if the entire GDP of the USA (13 Trillion) is redistributed equally to every man woman and child on the planet(8 billion). Do you know what would happen? Remember, several billion people in the world live on about two dollars a day.

The answer is that everyone including we the people who earn it all would be leveled off at $1850.00 per year. The people who live on $2.00 per day would be increased to $4.55 per day. That would come at the expense of 300 million Americans. Think about what you would do if you had to reduce your standard of living to live on $4.55 per day. Not very pretty is it? Those who live on $2.00 a day would celebrate to have double what they have now, but would they be better off?

We the people of the U.S.A. will be the slaves that feed the entire world. Is that fair for being the exceptional people that we are? Let those who are in love with liberal social policies be the first to give their fortunes to the less fortunate countries who started with the same brains as our forefathers, but who chose to live the way they still do. It is not our fault, nor our responsibility to bring them up to our standard of living. If you feel guilty because we the people of the USA have more than the rest of the world, seek psychiatric help soon. We did not make these people poor. Their governments chose to keep them as slaves, and the bureaucrats took advantage of them. We do not want that in the U.S.A

You will argue with me that we took advantage of these poor countries. If we relied on the natural resources of a foreign country, it was at a negotiated price. What did those governments do with the money we paid for those resources? Yep, they spent it all on schools, hospitals, road, water systems, and infrastructure for their population. Wrong, they spread it among their bureaucrats and had a good time while their people starved.

Thank God President Lincoln freed the slaves in this country, we don’t want to return to that system again. We choose to be free with liberty and justice for all.

I am Grumpa Joe, and I approve this message.

The Real Rolling Stone

I can’t really say much more than what I have conveyed in this cartoon. When this man speaks, the rhetoric in the balloon is all I hear.

The “Show Me State” Does

I am reading a book called American Insurgents, American Patriots, the Revolution of the People by T.H. Breen, a professor of American History at Northwestern University. The account is about America in the years prior to the American Revolution. He tells about the conditions of the colonies and their attitudes about Liberty. They were already thinking about independence, but not from King George. They were very loyal to the King, and to England. Yet, they had lived in a society of freedom and liberty that had become very important to them. When the Boston Tea Party took place, it kicked off a series of events that solidified the colonists into a singular entity willing to die for liberty.

They had formulated an idea about liberty long before 1776 and the Declaration of Independence. By the time the Founding Fathers took control of the situation, the majority of the population was set to fend for their rights.

As I read this chronicle, I see the current state of America unfold in my mind. It is scary, but right at this moment in our history, events similar to those that took place in 1774 are happening.

We see a general unhappiness about the direction the President and the Administration are taking the country. We are upset about the losses of liberty as we secede to big government. We are unhappy about the arrogant way in which the leaders fail to hear our complaints.  We are unhappy about the new laws they put into place to punish us for their sins of stupidity, and their immoral refusal to accept responsibility. I have not finished this book yet, but I see the future in the past.

The colonists were not organized when it  started. They formed small local groups of citizens to defend their towns. Very similar to the Tea Party Organizers forming local small groups of unhappy people into a voice.

The colonies needed a vehicle to communicate the happenings in Boston, and of government. Astute patriots established newspapers to spread the word. Still, the word spread slowly, so they organized a postal service to spread the newspapers from town to town quickly. Today, the government works feverishly to use newspapers and TV media to spread their propaganda. Modern day patriots use the internet, cable news, and blogs to keep the government BS from taking hold.

When King George punished the population of the Colonies for dumping tea into Boston Harbor, he started events that solidified the citizenry. When a rumor spread that the governor ordered the bombardment of Boston, towns all the way from Maine marched to save their fellow citizens. The march in total was disorganized, yet each town unit was an organized effort.

The colonists realized that the bombardment was only a rumor, and Boston did not suffer. What did happen, though, was a realization that collectively they were a huge singular force that could take on the Redcoats.

This week, an event occurred in Missouri. It was a simple act, an election on a referendum regarding a loss of liberty. Obama-Care contains language that requires the purchase of health care insurance. I wrote about this a while back and recommended forced purchase, similar to car insurance, as an option to take care of the problem. At the time, I was not aware that the Constitution does not allow the government to make us buy anything.

Missourians spoke loudly and clearly. They turned out in record numbers to make their voices heard that they do not condone any law that steals their liberty. The Missourians are like the colonists of 1774 who acted positively to protect their liberty. This one event may be the one that solidifies the colonists of 2010 into a cohesive force that will take on the Red-Feds.

There is still hope for AMERICA, let us pray that I am right.

Pope Nancy I

How far will she go to advance her ultra-liberal agenda? It is my opinion that she will try to buy off the pope so she can speak infallibly to Catholics. Here are some of the things she would want Catholics to believe without challenge:

  1. Speaking to Catholic bishops and priests,  ” Some (who) oppose immigration reform are sitting in those pews, and you have to tell them that this is a manifestation of our living the gospels…”
  2. Curing drug addicts is cheaper than enforcing illegal immigration.
  3. Denying illegal immigrants the rights of US citizens is un-American.
  4. Abortion on demand is a woman’s right to choose.
  5. Tea Party people are racist.
  6. Gay marriage is the same as heterosexual marriage.
  7. The government will save billions on universal Obamacare.

I thank the Lord that the Catholic Church is smart enough to keep Nancy out of Rome. I wish the people of California were smart enough to keep her out of Washington.
