The Answer to Why All the Bullets

The Department of Homeland Security has denied reports that it purchased 1.6 billion bullets. Janet Napolitano has repeatedly stated that any orders for ammunition are in quantities to  save money. She has not explained why the orders are for the high-priced hollow point bullets prohibited for use in the military. Some of my friends have insisted that the report is just a figment of my conspiracist imagination.

Today, I received an e-mail from the American Family Association complaining about the US Military branding the AFA a “Domestic Hate Group.” They included an e-mail from LTC  Jack L. Rich to his leaders. The e-mail is UNCLASSIFIED, I assume that means it is public. He uses a term in his message which I didn’t know implied the right to investigate domestic organizations, i.e. “Army Values.” The best I can interpret the term to mean is that it defines the new Army policy to openly allow homosexuals into the ranks.

It is somewhat lengthy and very explicit in its listing and description of every known “hate group ” in the USA. I’m sure you belong to at least one of the categories, because I believe everyone in the country will see themselves described in this memo, I know I saw me in there for sure.

What bothers me is that a LTC (I assume that means Lieutenant) who is responsible for protecting our country from harm by foreigners has taken the time in his busy day of conducting the war on terror to research all these domestic groups.

It is my opinion after reading this message that the Commander in Chief is afraid of his own shadow and commissioned the research. He then decided that to protect his ass from the likes of us he should have the DHS arm itself with automatic weapons, ammunition, and armored vehicles to engage in a domestic (Civil) war on hate groups (all of us). Remember his goal to initiate a domestic force bigger and better than the military?

I feel better now that the mystery of the 1.6 billion bullets is solved. However, I am very disturbed by LTC order to his leaders stating,

“. . .when we see behaviors that are inconsistent with Army Values – don’t just walk by – do the right thing and address the concern before it becomes a problem.”

Just what the heck does that mean? Do they shoot anyone who they witness exhibiting the behaviors defined in their memo?

Curiously, I tested a few of the links referenced below and was surprised to learn that the video of the DHS armored vehicles has been removed. I wonder why?

Make Me An Illegal Alien, Please.

There are too many people in the USA who continue to harangue whites about equal opportunity. Yet, these same people fail to realize the advantage they have over whites. We have passed the crest of civil rights for poor slave descendents to the point where the advantage is clearly in favor of anyone who is not white. For instance, most white people immigrate from European countries, and the existing immigration law stands. They must meet all the requirements and the quotas defined by the law. That is because it is easier to sequester new people coming in at airports and harbors than is on land borders.
Blacks get a trillion dollars a year in welfare payments of every kind. Recently, I read a report which summarized the benefits bestowed upon welfare recipients black or white. The average private sector worker makes about $25/hr (Includes the hidden paycheck items like health care, vacation, etc.) while a welfare person makes over $30/hr. Why would anyone want to work? In the meantime, people from Central America are streaming across the border which the president refuses to control even though it is his job to do so as defined by the US Constitution.  Upon arrival, these aliens commit an infraction which gets them arrested. That is their green card for entry, that they are on the record as having been arrested, makes them officially legal to stay in the country until they get a court date. The problem is that the Attorney General does not prosecute these people looking for a better life. In the meantime, the working population gets screwed with the bill.
The letter below from a citizen-constituent to an Iowa Senator asks for illegal status. It is alarmingly factual, and would be hilarious if it were not true.

Dear Senator Harkin,


As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.


My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for only three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.
Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I’m excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2008 and 2009.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as ‘in-state’ tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver’s license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me, given that I still have college age children driving my car.
If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance

Political Grace Before Dinner

The Thanksgiving holiday is over, and I made it without a mental breakdown. Grandma Peggy and I entertained the kids and the components of their families that could make it. The highlight of my day was saying Grace.

I went off the deep end and veered into the political arena, but recovered quickly. I thanked God for the current President who is  teaching us how fragile our liberty is. We have lost liberties throughout his tenure. One of the worst is the government take-over and ultimate ownership of two car companies, and some banks too. How about the President firing the CEO of a major car company? The entire Board of Directors at GM lost their rights on that one. The Constitution does not cover that detail anywhere, not even between the lines. I recently re-financed my mortgage and had to sign several documents pertaining to the Department of Homeland Security. A pure waste of paper, and probably the time of several bureaucrats hired to review the document; for what?  I’m sure I could put together a pretty good conspiracy, and pull it off before anyone at Homeland Security can detect a problem by the review of those documents.

Anyway, after my political Grace, I got down to thanking God for the food on our table and editorialized the fact of how lucky we were to have food at all because I had personally delivered food to a family in need just a few days earlier. They were desperate and very grateful to have that which I delivered. Finally, I got to:

Bless us oh Lord and these thy gifts which we are about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord. Amen

The food on our table:

Turkey, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, lasagna, tossed salad, cucumber salad, a relish tray, wine, and desert too: Cherry pie, apple pie, brownies, cinnamon cookies, a giant chocolate chip cookie, ice cream cake, and more.

No, we didn’t have cranberry sauce or pumpkin pie.
