What Is Going On?

Is it just me or do you wonder why our country is in such trouble? Listen to Rand Paul explain what is going on and then tell me who is at fault?

Who Knows How Great A President Will Be?

Many people talk about the man Obama is competing against as unqualified for the presidency. They belittle his ability, his stiffness, his jobs, his religion, his wealth, and in general people don’t like him as much as they do the  “Great One.” When I say this, I include Republicans and Conservatives too. They just don’t believe in the man one hundred percent.

This attitude began to have an effect on me during the debates. I listened and liked very diehard conservatives like Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum, and I really loved the government-reduction talks of Libertarian Ron Paul.  All of their messages seemed more “presidential” than those of Mitt Romney. The constant down play of Romney continued to work on my mind.

One night, in a dream, my sub-conscious played a movie about an event that happened thirty-two years ago.  America was in a terrible state. The economy tanked, interest rates pushed sixteen percent, and people were losing jobs. President Jimmy Carter was still unable to pronounce the word nuclear, even though he worked on a team to disable a damaged nuclear reactor while in the navy.

It was time to re-elect Jimmy Carter or to replace him. He succeeded in making the economy worse from when he took over four years earlier. His mission to rescue Americans held hostage by Iran failed miserably. The country was losing hope.

The candidate that challenged him was a loser. He had lost his first bid to the presidency four years earlier during the primary. His credentials to be president were somewhat lightweight. He served two terms as Governor of California. Before that his career included: sports casting, acting, leader of the Screen Actors union, and finally Governor. This man spent a good part of his working life as a Democrat, and eventually became Republican.

The facts were confusing and confounded me. How could an actor and union president lead the country as a Republican?

My conclusion came through much introspection. The country is in the toilet; the current president didn’t know how to make it better. His policies only made things worse, and there was no other option but to kick him out of office for new air.

I voted for Ronald Reagan even though I thought there might be better candidates somewhere on the planet that just didn’t happen to be in the race. The candidate whose claim to fame was a movie named “Bedtime for Bonzo” co-starring a chimpanzee, became my man.  I followed my instincts that anyone would be better than another four years of Jimmy Carter. It was the best electoral decision of my life.

The man Ronald Reagan, who I couldn’t reconcile, became a strong world leader able to compete with the Russians and the evils of communism. He also knew how to shrink the government and lead the economy into a sixteen-year growth sprout.

Who knew during the campaign how great this man would become? I feel the same about Mitt Romney; I’m giving him a chance to make good things happen.

The Solution For Saving America

This morning I opened my e-mail in basket and began cleaning house. If I get something from a friend it gets opened and read. If it is junk mail, its gets trashed  in a GJP second. Even the best trash filters are not cutting it anymore since a lot of it is getting through.

I am posting this piece in its entirety. It may not be accurate, and SNOPES may find it loaded with errors, but I really don’t give a rats ass on this one. The author is a genius even if  he might have misspelled a word which SNOPES might have a problem with. I totally approve this message, and agree with his picks and his reasons. If we were to put these specific people into place for eight years, they would restore America to a rock solid position for another two hundred and fifty years. That is long enough for my prodigy to live happily ever after. Not only would my kids and grandkids live happily, the rest of the world would also become a better place.

The author of this piece, Craig Andresen is a Minnesota lawyer and blogger at The National Patriot. Go to his website and read, Andresen and his contributing authors will amaze you with  the clarity of thought and the logic that prevails in the essays.

It’s going to be an ugly campaign. We all know it and we’re ready for it, but it’s going to be the ugliest, nastiest and dirtiest campaign in history.

Why NOT take the early lead? If Romney takes this advice, it will send a clear message to the Republican establishment that conservatives aren’t going to do business as usual any more. It would shake the establishment and pull together conservative voters.

He would pull together the conservative vote.

Here is a little something else this would do: It would shake the Obama campaign to its core.

As soon as the 1,144 delegates are in hand, WHOEVER garners them either at the convention or before: put this into motion.

Rather than a leisurely march toward a VP nominee or a surprise VP announcement like we got in 2008, vet the possible VPs NOW and stand ready to announce the running mate in a nationally televised press conference the day after the delegates are in hand.

Make the VP choice Allen West.

Having Congressman West in the VP slot makes him a TRIPLE THREAT and a VP who WILL redefine the role. Triple threat? As the Vice President he would attend to the regular duties and be a heartbeat away from the presidency. As Vice President, West would also act as a second Secretary of State in difficult diplomatic negotiations. AND…A Vice President West would work in concert with the Secretary of Defense to realign our military and redefine its role.

Triple threat!

Oh, but this is just the START of the strategy! As soon as the Presidential nominee has introduced West as the running mate: THE NOMINEE WOULD THEN INTRODUCE HIS SECRETARY OF STATE NOMINEE: John Bolton.

As a former Ambassador to the United Nations there is nobody with a better handle on the world’s issues or more familiar with the players. John Bolton is tough, straight forward and not likely to appease ANYONE.Now, you have the nominee on stage, the VP choice and the Secretary of State nominee: Let’s not stop there.

Next to walk onto the stage”Sarah Palin: Nominee for Secretary of Energy.

Palin’s directive: Set us on the path toward energy independence in 10 years. Can you think of a better choice? Anyone more invested in that goal? Anyone who is more knowledgeable or adept? I don’t.Can you feel the ground starting to shake?

Next out of the wings and onto the stage: The nominee for Secretary of Defense. Enter: General David Petreaus.

As great as he was fighting a Politically Correct (PC) war, imagine what he’ll be like once he and West have pressed the reset button on our rules of engagement. In Petraeus we will have a Secretary of Defense whose mission will be to win. PERIOD!

Oh, I’m not done yet. Next up: The nominee for Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Bondi, Attorney General of Florida, is a no nonsense fighter who has taken on the current administration over Obamacare and WILL clean out the corruption rampant in that office today. Okay, where are we? Who is now standing on the stage? The Presidential nominee and Allen West: John Bolton: Sarah Palin: General Petreaus and Pam Bondi.

How about a Secretary of the Treasury? We would need someone who has worked for YEARS in the tax field who understands the overwhelming burden of tax codes and who has, for years fought to restructure those codes.

Welcome Michele Bachmann to the stage: The nominee for Secretary of the Treasury.

By now, fissures should be opening in the ground, rumbling coming from the sky and the faint odor of brimstone should be in the air.

We will need someone new with new ideas to head up the Fed. Please welcome Ron Paul.

Yes, I realize this, under Paul, will be a temporary position; but somehow, I doubt Ron Paul wants to make a career of running the Fed.

Secretary of the Interior? Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana: COME ON DOWN!

And finally: We need someone to head up the Department of Homeland Security. We must have someone who understands the issues we face. Someone who has worked in federal law enforcement. Someone who won’t take any crap from anybody.

Please: a round of applause for: Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County , AZ.

Were the GOP nominee to do this: call a press conference and make such an announcement: it would be unprecedented. Never before has a presidential nominee entered the full-on campaign with a fully assembled team.

Can you IMAGINE the shock-and-awe wave that would be sent through the Obama campaign were the GOP nominee to do this?

Think about it!

From the word GO it would be unlike any previous presidential campaign.

Instead of simply Nominee X against Obama we would have Nominee X vs Obama

Congressman Allen West vs. Joe Biden

John Bolton vs. Hillary Clinton

Sarah Palin vs. Stephen Chu

General Petreaus vs. Leon Panetta

Pam Bondi vs. Eric Holder

Michele Bachmann vs. Tim Geithner

Ron Paul vs. Ben Bernake

Bobby Jindal vs. Ken Salazar

Sheriff Joe Arpaio vs. Janet Napolitano.

Think about that: Let that sink in” All campaigning at once. There would be no way out for Obama as each and every key player on his team would be exposed and held to account from the word GO.

It would be a full-on frontal assault and Obama would have no place to hide.

By adopting this proposal, Obama would be forced into a pot of boiling water or into the fire. If he tried to rid himself of baggage, he would be exposed as running from his own record and that of the very people he’s been standing behind for political expediency. If he stays with them, he would be forced to defend them. Boiling water or a raging fire: his choice.

It’s bold, brash and completely against the establishment business as usual strategy. It’s earth shaking!

An entire assembled team of key cabinet positions: Each one a pitbull on a T-Bone: hammering their liberal counterparts on every issue, every day, from the word GO, until November 6th, 2012.

We will have to play the cards we’re dealt with the GOP nominee, but tell me THIS strategy wouldn’t go a LONG way toward bringing the conservative voters together. Tell me this strategy wouldn’t pull in and appeal to independents.

As voters, using THIS strategy, we would be voting for the whole team rather than just the standard, business-as-usual Presidential 2-person ticket.

Radical Ideas Resonate With the People

Ron Paul's blimp

While I still worked for a living, one of my engineers asked me who I was voting for. I answered “the most conservative candidate.”

“Oh, are you voting for Ron Paul?”

At the time, Ron Paul was a no name to me. I didn’t have clue about him or his background. Today, I know a bit more, but still not enough. Paul continues as a favorite in the Iowa polls. Why? I’ve tried to get answers from friends, and they tell me he has some radical ideas and is dangerous to the country. So why does he continue to show so well in polls during the primary campaign?

It is my belief that the man’s ideas resonate with the average person. So what are the ideas presumed so radical, and why do they strike such a strong appeal to we the people?

I had to read several articles to decide for myself what ideas Paul promotes. After doing so, I concluded the ideas are not so radical, and they appeal to me too. A few months ago I took one of those ten question tests to find where I stood on my political beliefs. Before this test, I considered myself a conservative; surprise, I tested strongly libertarian. Ron Paul is also a libertarian. Another person whose ideas and commentary I love is former ABC, and now Fox commentator  John Stoessel. Stoessel is a libertarian who regularly exposes how when government gets involved things go seriously wrong.

Here are the Paul ideas that my friends consider radical:

1. A balanced budget, (Not radical)

2. Obey the Constitution, (Radical only to Progressives and Socialists)

3. Cut One trillion dollars from Federal spending in his first year of presidency, (Radical only to Democrats)

4. Iran is politically no different from any other country, (Yes, radical even to me)

5. All wars approved by the US Congress (In the current Constitution)

6. Remove sanctions from Iran, (I’m not sure on this one)

7. Establish a non-interventionist foreign policy, (Radical to US politicians)

8. Eliminate the Federal Reserve, (Radical to big banking)

9. Withdraw from the United Nations, (Not radical)

10. End the Cuban embargo, (No longer radical)

11. Repeal the Patriot Act. (Not radical)

Out of this list of eleven ideas I see four that may be perceived as radical.  How do you feel about items 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10?

Four out of the five (6,7,9,10) listed are foreign policy issues, the fourth (8) is a banking issue.

Yet, the people of Iowa seem okay with these proposals? My wife often tells me we have no business in Iraq, Afghanistan, or in giving money to foreign governments to see them use it against us. Does that sound familiar to items 6, 7, & 9?

Maybe our foreign policy of past years has been the reason for the mid-Eastern countries hating the USA so much, and if we get the hell out of there they can go about their business of converting the world to Islam. Or, they might just be so happy with their new lives they will convert to capitalism.

I see Ron Paul resonating with common people because they like to hear him say things like obey the constitution, cut a trillion dollars in spending, balance the budget, or go back to the gold standard. The common guy who still believes in working for a living, while supporting government employees with the same labor, like to hear those ideas because they are the ideas the common guy lives by.

The real question, however, is not whether Ron Paul’s ideas are radical, or whether he resonates with the people, but rather can he beat Obama?

I don’t believe Dr Paul will be our next president, but I applaud him for awakening America by passionately discussing his libertarian values.

What the Heck is Shadow Government?

In March of 2010, I published a cartoon of Obama as a marionette being manipulated by George Soros. At the time, I was only suspicious of an alliance between the two, now I am convinced it is true.

What brings me to this realization? A little book (56 pp) titled “From Shadow Party to Shadow Government,” written by David Horowitz and John Perazzo.

The book was a gift from a very good friend. I’m not so sure how good he is anymore because after reading his gift twice, I do not sleep well.

Do you remember when Obama Care came to the Congress in it’s two thousand plus pages of glory? Did you ever wonder how Congress came up with such a complex document in so little time? Did you wonder how, if they had written the bill why none of the members knew what the heck was in it? I can ask the same questions about the TARP bill, and the Stimulus Bill and the answers all point to ”Shadow Government.”

A wicked man by the name of George Soros has been organizing and orchestrating a Shadow Party which would become the Shadow Government since before the Clinton Administration.  He has clandestinely established multiple organizations whose sole purpose is to overtake the U.S.A. and establish a totalitarian state. He allied himself with Obama in 2006 and has manipulated his agenda through the President ever since. George Soros is in Obama’s head.

This little book exposes twenty-eight organizations founded or funded by George Soros. Most are an part of the Shadow Party.

Another question mulling through my feeble mind, where did Obama come up with the weirdo’s he appointed as czars? The answer is, they came from the many Soros organizations referred to above.

Before I started writing this post, I checked out David Horowitz. It turns out his parents were Marxist, and he had Marxist leanings himself. Somewhere in his life he rejected Marxism and now champions against all form of Marxism. Mr. Horowitz sees George Soros as a man committed to transforming America into a totalitarian state.  In other words, George Soros is EVIL.

The people of the Tea Party can see it and feel it. They sense the transformation toward Marxism. They want no part of it. They want to retake America and reestablish the core values that make America great. They see Obama taking us down piece by piece. Obama, and his brain George Soros also see that. Did you ever wonder why there is such a huge movement to discredit the Tea Party Movement and Conservatives like Chris Christie, Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Sarah Palin, and Michelle Bachman? These are the kind of Americans the Progressive movement fears the most.

If you are any bit curious about the issues raised above, check out this website:        http:// www.discoverthenetworks.org       If the facts presented there do not scare you just a little, you may be a member of the Shadow Party.
