Add Islamaphobe to Homophobe, and Racist

You did what?

This morning’s news upset me quite a bit. The announcement about two Universities being terrorized by bomb threats coming by phone from people who sounded mid-eastern was enough for me. I dashed off a letter to my Senators and Congressman. Then I e-mailed the letter. To make sure they got the message, I called their offices and dictated the letter to the aid in charge. Not satisfied, I sent a signed copy of the letter by Priority mail to Senators Durbin, Kirk, and Congressman Kinzinger. The message is don’t f__k with our kids.

The full content of my letter is below. I recommend you copy this letter and send it to your Senators and Congressmen as well. We have to make our voices heard. The insanity must be stopped.

Re:  Homeland Security

Legislation to secure America from attack

Dear Senator Durbin:

Please pass legislation immediately to do the following:

1. Suspend all Visas’ of people from Muslim countries to the USA.

2. Prohibit entry to any Muslim into the USA

3. Find and deport all illegal Muslim people living in the USA

4. Prohibit further immigration of Muslim people into the USA.

5. Interview and watch all non-citizen Muslims within the USA.

6. Close the borders between Mexico and Canada to stem the tide of illegal Muslims entering the USA.

I request this action as a citizen who totally understands the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I also understand that our Congress has control over writing laws to make our country safe. None of the requests I have made above are out of the ordinary nor would they violate any Constitutional rights. Radical Muslims have attacked or threaten to attack us from within. It is our duty  as a nation to take action against these aggressors.

I ask for this legislation because of the most recent attack on the USA by AL Qaeda at the Universities of Texas and North Dakota.  Since we are at war with terrorists these actions are appropriate and mandatory as a way to control the enemy. Since there is no safe way to determine which alien Muslims are radical, and which are not, we must make them all suspect and send them back to their home countries.

We must keep our country safe from attack by anyone from anywhere.

Please do the right thing and place this legislation before the Senate for a vote by next week. I know you can do it if you really care about America.

Respectfully yours,

Grumpa Joe

  1. Regards your request: The great democratic president Roosevelt had no compunction to do something similar to the Japanese american CITIZENS in WWII. But this administration has not Testicular Fortitude!!! Jim

    • Several presidents rounded up illegals and deported them Truman and Eisenhower come to mind. They thought rightly so that jobs being performed by illegals shoul dbe made available for returning troops. Severaal miilion illegals were sent packing. It took years to accomplish but they did. I don’t agree with internement camps like those we set up in WWII. I want to see Muslims kept out of the country. Let those who are here as citizens stay and assimilate like all the other nationalities do.

  2. Grumpa, this is one of the few times that I have to disagree with a position you have taken. In my opinion, it is so important for us in this country to fight to maintain our rights and freedoms that we are always going to have to take the chance that ugly, rotten and evil people will be living in our midst.Look around…they aren’t all Muslim. A couple of World Wars ago there were members of my family forced to work in American labor camps because they were of German descent. It didn’t matter that they weren’t “bad” Huns. They were Huns. In WWII it was the Japanese who were interred…because they were Japanese. It seems that throughout our history there was always some group who had to pay for what a minority did. I agree with a policy of closer scrutiny of who gets in the U.S., but I don’t agree with total exclusion.

    • Baileyoski: I don’t disagree with you about internment camps. I am not suggesting we place Muslims in internment, I am saying we should deport all those who are here illegally, and those who are not citizens. I give citizens the benefit of doubt that they are here to be Americans. Most who come today are not cooming to assimilate into the country. They come to live away from their sand hole in a better place and to establish their theocracy here. Islam and America are the exact opposite of each other. They cannot co-exist. Muslim’s believe that the law of God is the only law and that is all they must follow. When you come to America you must accept the laws of America first. You may follow the laws of your religion separately. Muslim believe the laws of their Koran are a higher level than our laws, therefore they don’t have to follow them. That is why we separate church from State. The Founders expressly designed the system to be so. They were fleeing the English system and it’s religious oppression. The Church of England under the King was a theocracy. My position is that the Muslims coming here today come to do evil, they should not be allowed into the country. Those who are not citizens are here on visas or permits of some kind. All of them should be deported to their home countries.
