Coming Out Smelling Like a Rose

IMG

Last night I plunked my self down in front of the big screen LED HDTV to watch the President weasel out of his disaster called Syria, or the Red Line, or aiding and abetting Al Qaeda. The Samsung brought Obama right into my living room. When he walked down that hallway to his teleprompters the definition on my screen was so real, I thought he was coming into the room with me. His opening remarks were not very inspiring and I had heard most of the arguments about how he knows that Syria lobbed gas bombs into a rebel held neighborhood. I was wanting to hear him read something good and important.

It was kind of surreal when the next image appeared, it was a commentator analyzing every syllable of every word Obama uttered. What happened to his speech? I, uh, guess I have to confess, his magical oratorical reading had the same effect on me that gas warfare had on Assad’s citizens. Except, I am lucky, I woke up again, a bunch of his people didn’t.

Now, I am content with watching news-snippets of what he did read, and I am glad I fell asleep. The nap was more beneficial than the solace he might have offered me with his plans to go no where.

Transforming America

The debate about what kind of punishment to impose upon Syria for crossing the country’s redline continues at feverish pace. A lot of the arguments revolve around how the US will react to a successful take down of the Syrian dictator. What will we do? Will we have to send troops in to secure the country? Who will replace Assad? In the mean time, our leader remains unfettered and ready to blame Bush for whatever happens.

I think our liberal friends who elected this schmuck into office forget that Obama believes like most liberals and Muslims that the USA is responsible for everything that is wrong on the planet Earth. His campaign promise to transform America is the only goal he keeps his eye on. We are finally beginning to realize what he is transforming America into. He believes that America like all western nations is a colonial power that became exceptional by stealing wealth from poor, under developed nations. His goal, to transform America, involves bringing the USA down to the level of incompetency that exists in the Mid-east, Africa, and Asia. Obama wants the USA to fail so he can prove that the world will become a better place when it does.

The arguments about his current incompetency and his policy to lead from behind are all mute. He is doing these things on purpose to let the world know that America is no better than any other dung-hole of a country or continent. When he succeeds in making us a third world country his accomplished his primary goal, and he will be happy. The rest os us will wonder what-the-heck just happened and how did we get here.

Think about it. The best way to bring us down to third world status is to bankrupt us. How many things has he initiated to do that? Obama Care, loose border control and immigration policies, offering food stamps to any one who fills out the forms, free phones,  mortgages to Palestinians, millions to research how to stop women in Brazil from smoking, and now another war. In his mind he is doing great, so why do we even bother to debate any of it?

The Man Makes Some Sense

Most American Presidents have been good orators. Our current leader is tauted as being a great orator. I claim he is a good reader. When he speaks extemporaneously, he makes no sense, but he uses a lot of words to do it. I was surprised when I read this interpreted speech given by Vladimir Putin to the Russian Duma (Congress). He made sense and used very few words to do so.  There may be some hope for Russia yet. Now, if we could only have some hope for our leaders in America.
Vladimir Putin’s Speech – 02/04/13
Perhaps this is one time our elected leaders should pay attention . . . .
On February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia:
“In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that’s the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell ‘discrimination’. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians.
The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a standing ovation for five minutes.

General and Admiral Relieved of Duty Post Libya

I received this article from a good friend who is retired military. I checked by searching on Google and it has been posted many times on many websites. I have said repeatedly that the Benghazi-gate is a cover up of enormous magnitude and will result in the President being IMPEACHED.

I do not know if you have noticed, but two senior military commanders involved in the Benghazi debacle have been removed from command.  The removal of any flag grade officer is a drastic measure rarely performed except for extreme cause.    According to what I have read and been told by others, General Carter Ham, AFRICOM commander, received the same e-mails that were going to the White House notifying them of the attack on the Benghazi embassy.  From his headquarters at Patch Barracks in Stuttgart, FRG, immediately ordered a Special Forces Quick Reaction Force (QRF) to stand-to for deployment, and then notified the White House of his actions.  It is alleged that upon receiving an order from the White House to stand-down, General Ham chose to ignore the order and continued preparations to deploy.  Supposedly, General Ham was then confronted by his 2IC, “apprehended” and informed that he was “relieved of command.”  General David Rodriguez has subsequently been named as the AFRICOM commander.

Within days of this incident with General Ham, Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette, commander of the USS Stennis aircraft carrier strike group – MidEast, was relieved of his command citing, “inappropriate leadership judgment.” Admiral Gaouette’s naval strike group stood off in the Mediterranean Sea, prepared to provide support to the beleaguered Benghazi embassy.  Both his command and the forces at NAS Sigonella were ordered to stand-down.  Rear Admiral Gaouette has subsequently been ordered to return to his home port while the US Navy cites that his recall is “a temporary assignment.”    While I see the necessity of civilian control over the military, I do see the actions against these two commanders as extremely detrimental to national defense and the military’s true function.  I can almost assure you that the replacement commanders will not be quick to move towards crisis, to march to the sound of the guns, or to prepare to fight on a moment’s notice.  Rather, it seems as though hesitancy and an overwhelming willingness to “wait for further” orders; i.e, it is beyond my paygrade…,  is being rewarded.    These reliefs require a closer examination.  Perhaps both of the relieved commanders would have the balls to demand a court-martial, or resign in the manner that General Jack Singlaub did upon his relief in Korea in 1976.
