Repeal PPACPA

There are some very special people in my life who are totally committed to healthcare reform. I disagree with their opinions about the efficacy of Obama Care. It is a senseless stupid pile of paper designed to take power, and to eliminate liberty from America. Healthcare is not a right, it is a gift to us from the millions of compassionate workers who serve humanity with a desire to limit our pain and misery. They do not educate themselves for 12 years to be told by a brain-dead bureaucrat in Washington how to do the job.

The Founding Fathers did not stick their necks out to see successors take away the liberties they fought so hard to establish.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are the Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. . . .”

Another Reason to Kill Tenure

Can any one explain why this jerk is still employed by the University of Illinois to spew his socialist opinions on our young people. He escaped a murder charge on a court technicality and since then is motivated to make the world communist.

Listen to the man, he continues to push the Obama message on us. He really believes in what he preaches, well I believe in what I preach too. The difference is that I preach this message:

Bill Ayers and his neighbor, Obama, preach a socialist world order where all men are slaves to the elitists in power.

I loved the original Star Trek TV series. In it, Captain Kirk steered the starship Enterprise all over the universe policing for evil empires. The series assumed the planet earth was a unified and all loving, all-knowing, all-powerful government capable of spreading Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness to all civilizations.

Where will planet earth fit in the Bill Ayers model? Will we be dominated by a Death Star and the dark side, or will planet earth prevail and spread peace to the universe?

If we follow Ayers’ model, we will never become the planet that spreads peace over the universe because he doesn’t believe in a single power with military might strong enough to dominate anything.

Bill Ayers has openly criticized capitalism and professes socialism as the way to solve the world’s problems.  If he and Obama love socialism so much they should both move to North Korea.

The “Show Me State” Does

I am reading a book called American Insurgents, American Patriots, the Revolution of the People by T.H. Breen, a professor of American History at Northwestern University. The account is about America in the years prior to the American Revolution. He tells about the conditions of the colonies and their attitudes about Liberty. They were already thinking about independence, but not from King George. They were very loyal to the King, and to England. Yet, they had lived in a society of freedom and liberty that had become very important to them. When the Boston Tea Party took place, it kicked off a series of events that solidified the colonists into a singular entity willing to die for liberty.

They had formulated an idea about liberty long before 1776 and the Declaration of Independence. By the time the Founding Fathers took control of the situation, the majority of the population was set to fend for their rights.

As I read this chronicle, I see the current state of America unfold in my mind. It is scary, but right at this moment in our history, events similar to those that took place in 1774 are happening.

We see a general unhappiness about the direction the President and the Administration are taking the country. We are upset about the losses of liberty as we secede to big government. We are unhappy about the arrogant way in which the leaders fail to hear our complaints.  We are unhappy about the new laws they put into place to punish us for their sins of stupidity, and their immoral refusal to accept responsibility. I have not finished this book yet, but I see the future in the past.

The colonists were not organized when it  started. They formed small local groups of citizens to defend their towns. Very similar to the Tea Party Organizers forming local small groups of unhappy people into a voice.

The colonies needed a vehicle to communicate the happenings in Boston, and of government. Astute patriots established newspapers to spread the word. Still, the word spread slowly, so they organized a postal service to spread the newspapers from town to town quickly. Today, the government works feverishly to use newspapers and TV media to spread their propaganda. Modern day patriots use the internet, cable news, and blogs to keep the government BS from taking hold.

When King George punished the population of the Colonies for dumping tea into Boston Harbor, he started events that solidified the citizenry. When a rumor spread that the governor ordered the bombardment of Boston, towns all the way from Maine marched to save their fellow citizens. The march in total was disorganized, yet each town unit was an organized effort.

The colonists realized that the bombardment was only a rumor, and Boston did not suffer. What did happen, though, was a realization that collectively they were a huge singular force that could take on the Redcoats.

This week, an event occurred in Missouri. It was a simple act, an election on a referendum regarding a loss of liberty. Obama-Care contains language that requires the purchase of health care insurance. I wrote about this a while back and recommended forced purchase, similar to car insurance, as an option to take care of the problem. At the time, I was not aware that the Constitution does not allow the government to make us buy anything.

Missourians spoke loudly and clearly. They turned out in record numbers to make their voices heard that they do not condone any law that steals their liberty. The Missourians are like the colonists of 1774 who acted positively to protect their liberty. This one event may be the one that solidifies the colonists of 2010 into a cohesive force that will take on the Red-Feds.

There is still hope for AMERICA, let us pray that I am right.

We Can or We Can, Not

During President Barack Obama’s campaign to the presidency, he promoted the catchy phrase “yes we can.” He used many positive affirmations throughout the campaign. Being a student of positive thinking, I thought here is a guy who is living the positive message.

In the past, few months I have heard a string of cannot dos that are very untypical of the positive Barack of the campaign. We cannot secure the border. We cannot prosecute illegals. We cannot prosecute voting fraud by blacks, browns, yellows, and reds, only whites. We cannot have God on our money. We cannot have God in public places. We cannot have God in schools. We cannot pray on the National Day of Prayer. We cannot make our own end of life health care decisions. We cannot live by the Constitution of the Founding Fathers. We cannot run the government with heads of departments vetted by Congress. We cannot read two thousand page bills before we vote to approve them. We cannot have capitalism because it is evil. We cannot define marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

The slogan “Yes We Can” has become a matter of definition. There are those who believe “We Can,” means one thing and there are those who believe “We Can,” means something else.

Barack and his liberal Congress believe in stripping us of our liberty. They believe they can teach us that big government is good for us. They believe in destroying relationships we developed with our allies. They believe they can talk themselves out of any situation. They believe they can pass laws to control us. They believe those who choose to earn a living must support those that do not. They believe every law should be in the interest of promoting a socialist state. They believe once elected, they should own the office until death. They believe they know what is better for you than you do. They believe in a form of slavery known as liberal-progressive-socialism.

I want to believe that we can make the USA a better place to live. We can have freedom of speech. We can have choices in our health care. We can start a business without the government regulating every move. We can choose to live where we want. We can own a gun. We can have God in our schools. We can have God in our public places. We can have God in our schools. We can prosecute racism of white against black, and black against white. We can gather on the National Mall, and pray on a given day. We can vote for a union privately. We can live by strict interpretation of the Constitution. We can encourage immigration into the country via a set of rules. We can limit the power of the Executive branch of government. We can limit Congress to terms of employment. We can give people an education without government dictating what is in a history book. We can hold a child back. We can discipline kids without fear of retribution by a nanny state. We can live without fear of a radical religion promoting its theism upon us.  We can adopt English as the national language. We can promote the exceptionalism of our people and country. We can limit the size of government. We can live without a Department of Energy. We can live without a Department of Education. We can live without a Department of Homeland Security. We can live without a Department of Health and Human Services. We can have a Department of Justice that enforces laws. We can have a president who knows how to lead. We can have a Congress that listens to the voice of the people as well as to special interest groups. We can limit campaign funds of the President and Congress. We can make elected officers give back all unused campaign funds immediately after election to office.

Which definition of We Can do you choose to accept? We can, or we can-not?

“Kill the Republic”

 

      Three cheers! The Democrats created a moment of history. They saved the first black president of the USA from the pits of disgrace: or did they?  I congratulate the five hundred and thirty five for their blatant disregard for the voices of 180 million constituents.  It is clear to me that this group of Congressman does not give a damn about the people who hired them. They have chosen to listen to a higher authority, the president. In this win-lose situation, they flexed muscles they forgot they owned.  They did exercise democrat political tricks learned on the battlefield from the likes of Alinsky, Kennedy, and Daley.  The ends justify the means, and the means is anything that works at the time. Bribery, lies, deceit, airplane rides, all fit the bill.

     With the current economic situation, and a new Great Depression still looming before us, I predict that this new bill will bankrupt the country before Obama Care will take care of a single newly insured person. Do we really think that after collecting a huge pile of money for four years that the 535 will fail temptation to spend it on something else? History is on my side on this point. They will spend it, but not on health care.

     Even if we were to vote them all out of office today, it will take a hundred years to undo the damage perpetrated on us by this act. By that time, the culture of the USA will evolve into a godless social state of twenty first century slaves serving the 535. Will you care?  Will living in the nanny state fill you with rapture? Will you accept the loss of liberty and a life of servitude?

     Congratulations America, you got the change you want to believe in. You will have an opportunity to debate the point with me in the soup lines soon.

     In the near future, a group of people from the United Socialist States of America will draft a new Declaration of Independence. It will begin something like this. . .

That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. . .
