A Giant Can Of Worms

It feels strange not to be writing for my blog, and today, I feel guilty for attempting to spill my brain out in words. As always, I begin writing. Nonsense at first, like the sentence above. Eventually, after a few sentences, my brain finds its way to a subject out of the ether. There is so much going on in the world, and in my life, it is hard to choose a topical direction. There are times when I am in the middle of an art piece and I will show photos of the work in progress. Other times, the news gets to me and I pick a political topic to opine on. The big topic in the news is war. The battle between Ukraine and Russia and now the fight between Israel and Iran. The battle on the streets of America rapidly evolving into civil war. I predicted a civil war amongst Americans when Obama first began his transformation of a civilized country into one of division. Rapidly, our neighbors are turning on each other. Although I do not know a single neighbor whose politics different than mine who will ignite a civil war.

The differences between Conservatives and Liberals in our country is real, strong, and flammable. These differences are definitely not rooted in race, religion, language, or ethnicity. They are emanating from within people’s minds. The war in Ukraine seems to be based on a pissing contest between ego-maniacs. Russia wants more land; Specifically the land Ukranians live on. I guess that a country that spans five times zones is not large enough to be significant. There is always something a neighbor has that you don’t and wallah, let’s go to war for it.

The fight, I have the most trouble understanding involves Jews. Historically, the Jews have always been the underdog. Hatred for Jews goes back thousands of years and I don’t know if anybody has ever known why. The current dispute between Palestinians and Iranians and Jews is unfathomable. Only one reason comes to me that is a possibility for disharmony. Take for example the differences between Jews and Arabs. They all come from the same area of the world, they all look alike, they live in the same region, yet they are totally different. Some say, the Jews use their cunning for business to cheat others. I can’t believe that there is a gene that spells a difference between one tribe having a stronger business gene than the other. The only difference that is logically noticeable is religion. The Jews model their lives upon the ten commandments. A second difference is that Jews hold a belief that there is but one God, and have done so for thousands of years. Muslims have modeled their religion on the Life of Mohammad. Although, there are some similarities between the two religions I can only understand a few of the differences. All of Mohammad’s rules are written in the Koran, and the single biggest difference lies in the belief that Islam believes that one God rules all. Judaism also believes in one God, but also in a separation between the state and God. There can be ethical, and moral rules as defined by the ten commandments and those dictating earthly matters such as property ownership, speed limits, boundaries, taxes. etc.

What is more intriguing is the hatred of jews by non-muslims, like Hitler. What is it that incites people to hate each other?

Growing up, I never disliked anyone, but I did pick up racial hatred from my parents. When Mom and Dad arrived in America from Europe, they did not have an inborn dislike for black people. They didn’t have blacks in that part of the world. I believe that Dad learned to dislike blacks from his superiors and co-workers on the railroad he worked for. Mom learned from her girlfriends and Dad. They did bring an attitude about Jews from Europe. We never discussed the matter, but my opinion is that they disliked Jews because Jews were responsible for killing Jesus.

So, why are the Iranians and other Muslim countries so focused on killing jews? What did the Jews do to make their neighbors hate them so? You tell me.

One scenario for this hatred is this; athough Jews have been a community in the mid-east for several thousand years, they did not become a country until 1948. When Israel was founded the total area dedicated to them was rather small as compared to neighboring countries like Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan all of which eclipse Israel in size. Palestine was also a large community that occupied the same area as Israel and declared itself a state in 1988. Therein lies the problem. Both populations, Israel with over nine million and Palestine at five million citizens live side by side in towns scattered throughout the same territory. Picture a map of towns both Israeli and Palestinian occupying side by side within the same territory. Both populations wanting to be in control. Each claiming sovereignty over the other. Imagine a Palestinian going to work in the morning and having to cross a border into an Israeli town only to pass into another Palestinian town to another Israeli border to enter an Israeli town where your job is located. Imagine having to live by all the rules of both countries multiple times a day while commuting.

The whole situation is giving me a headache.

The answer is that I don’t know and don’t care. We are too far apart to get into it. If the Palestinian lived in Frankfort and I became friends with him, things would be different, and we’d argue things out. In the meantime, I suffer from hearing all the opinions and news reports about Israel and Palestine.

If the Jews don’t wipe out all of the Palestinians, and the Jews don’t annihilate all the Iranians, this skirmish will last another thousand years.

See, I told you at the start that I don’t have anything to write about, but I did it again. I found a topic after I began pushing keys and opened a giant can of worms.

Believe

If you were to ask me what I think about the war in the Middle East, I would more than proudly proclaim that I hope the Israelis do as well in this war as they did in the past when Egypt invaded them. They call it the Six-Day War. That is how long the Egyptians lasted. I don’t like or believe in the genocide of a race, but I do think eliminating a murderous, hate-filled cult from existence is appropriate to save the world. The cult in Palestine is called Hamas. If we in America want to see peace in the world, we must do all we can to eradicate this mentally diseased order of people.

I received this article from a friend, and it deserves a reading. It is truthful and insightful. I remember when General Dwight D. Eisenhower visited a Nazi death camp, he informed the photographers to take pictures. He said

“Get it all on record now – get the films – get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

― Dwight D. Eisenhower

Eisenhower predicted the future correctly. Today, we have the Muslim community believing that the Holocaust never happened and countries in Europe recommending that all mention of the Holocaust be removed from being taught in their schools for fear of offending the Muslims. My take on the matter is that Muslims should be eradicated from the face of the Earth. If that is considered hate speech, so be it. I am a hateful person when it comes to a religious belief system bullying the world toward their doctrine.

With what is happening in the Middle East now I feel this should be passed along …

Who really died at Auschwitz? What really died at Auschwitz? Here’s an interesting viewpoint. The following is a copy of an article written by Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodriguez and published in a Spanish newspaper. It doesn’t take much imagination to extrapolate the message to the rest of Europe, and possibly to the rest of the world. I walked down the streets in Barcelona and suddenly discovered a terrible truth: Europe died in Auschwitz. We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a group of people who represented culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who made great contributions to the world, and thus changed the world. The contribution of today’s Jewish people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all, as the conscience of the world. Look at any donors’ board at any symphony, art museum, theatre, art gallery, science center, etc. You will see many, many, Jewish surnames. These are the people who were burned. Of the 6,000,000 who died, how many would have grown up to be gifted musicians, doctors, artists, philanthropists? And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the diseases of racism and bigotry, Europe opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride. They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime. Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts. And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition. We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs. What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe.Recently, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it “offends” the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.It is now approximately seventy years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This email is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, twenty million Russians, ten million Christians, and nineteen-hundred Catholic priests who were murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on and humiliated. Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming The Holocaust to be “a myth,” it is imperative to make sure the world “never forgets.”This email is intended to reach 400 million people. Be a link in the memorial chain and help distribute this around the world. How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center “NEVER HAPPENED” because it offends some Muslim in the United States? If our Judeo-Christian heritage is offensive to Muslims, they should pack up and move to Iran, Iraq or some other Muslim country. Please do not just delete this message; it will take only a minute to pass this along. We must wake up America, England, Australia and Europe before it’s too late.

Hate!

What ever happened to my right to hate? The perfect world being implemented by a mindless Left is one of utter boredom. When we are all drones per the leftist rules how will we be entertained?  We will all have the same amount of money to spend, the same schools, the same jobs, the same politically correct language, the same boring lives.

To me, hatred is an emotion seated deep within my soul. It resides there waiting for the right set of circumstances to trigger a feeling deeply rooted in dislike. Hatred is a useful emotion which can allow a person to relieve some high pressure angst.

Can we really regulate an emotion by law? If so, that means we can also regulate love. When will the liberal world come to realize that one cannot make one person love another. By the same logic they won’t be able to make someone hate another. However, there are two laws taught by Jesus, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself . . .” Neither of these two laws will find their way into a formal law of the USA.

The current flap about the new muslim congresswoman Ilhan Omar expressing her hatred for jews has been in the news non-stop. What we all fail to understand is that Islam and Judaism are religions and protected by the First Amendment. That same amendment also dictates we keep state and religion separate. In my mind that makes congresswoman Ilhan guilty of violating the First amendment by promoting her muslim religious beliefs into the policies and operation of the government. Our government honored her religion by allowing her to be sworn in by swearing upon a Koran (not a Bible).

If Ilhan Omar wishes to continue as an U.S. Representative she should be muzzled and censured for violating the First Amendment.

“I AM A HYPOCRITE!”

I haven’t posted for a while because I had more important things to do. One of them was to take baby steps toward the “Monet Vision” in my garden. Another was to sell Sweepstakes tickets for the Lions Club, and a third was to develop material for the legacy book I want to give my kids. What is very interesting to me is the amount of interest the last post generated. “I AM A RACIST,” has been viewed four times more than any of my previous posts. I guess I could call the post an experiment, but I would be lying because I meant most of the things I wrote. It should have been titled, “I AM A HYPOCRITE.” Reason being that several days before generating my hatred article, I spoke out against hatred that occurs on the BLOGS in my post titled “Stinkin Thinkin.” The two posts are opposite each other. In one, I spoke out against hatred, in the other I espoused my own hatred. What purpose did my words serve, except to make a fool of myself before the world? I let my true feelings vent in a way that was hurtful to the people I targeted. They did nothing to me to deserve those words. Everyone has the right to like the kind of music and lyrics that they think is meaningful. Everyone has a right to dress the way they think is fashionable. Who am I to throw a public fit, just because the lyrics, the beat, and the fashion is not my thing?  I apologize to all who read the post and were offended.

What I learned from this is that “hatred” sells, just like negative news outdoes positive news. Even though I did spill my guts on the racist article, it is so not me. I tend to advocate brotherly love over prejudous and hatred.

My goal is to make this a very positive BLOG, teaching the principles of motivation, positive thinking, goal setting, and achievement.  I will not post negative hate stuff again except to condemn it..

Stinkin Thinkin

The world of BLOGs is new to me, so I still explore regularly. Quite frankly, the more I explore the less I want to. I go to the BLOGs that are listed under   “Fastest Growing WordPress.com blogs.” Well, my experience of late has been one of disappointment. Many of them are filled with hate. Thousands of words directed at peoples, organizations, religions, with no end except to register the writer’s hatred for them. As an example, I read one BLOG which was written by a so called “Catholic Christian,” which made some sense except for the fact that the blogger hated all “Jews.” My impression was that he was muslim, but he professed to be a catholic. The commentors were not better. The first commentor registererd hatred toward all christians, “Kill all Christians.” was his comment. The comments directed hatred toward the blogger for his views. My own opinion is that I will not spend any more time reading such diatribe. WordPress would be wise to shut down immediately if that is the kind of content they want to spread.

Many other sites dedicate themselves toward racial hatred. Much is directed toward the election. They do it under the guise of politics, and personal choice. The bottom line is that the liberals are hating the conservatives and the conservatives are hating the liberals. War is another topic that incites hatred. Sure we shouldn’t be in the Afghanistan or Iraq war, or any war for that matter. Had we stayed out of the civil war, we’d all own slaves today. If we stayed out of WWII we’d be marching the duck step, and we would all  have blond hair, and blue eyes. The rest of us would have been sent to the ovens, or we’d be slaves. Had we stayed out of Korea, the North and South of Korea would be under one rule. They would all be starving, and we wouldn’t be buying cheap TV’s and Hyundi cars. Had we stayed out of Viet Nam, our population would be 50,000 stronger, and the population of Canada would be less. There are bloggers venting hostility toward our government for all of these events. We blame the government for everything, yet we put them in office. If we don’t like what they are doing, we should vote them out. We should write to them, call them, e-mail them with our discontent. Instead of taking action, we sit on our asses and write thousands of words on the world wide web to spread our hatred for the best government on the globe. The problem is that less than half the voting population votes, so we place ourselves at the mercy of the forty percent that do vote.

Today, I had lunch with a retired school teacher. She related stories about how testing under the “No Child Left Behind Act,” makes no sense at all. The kids still don’t learn, don’t want to learn, their parents don’t give a shit, but the President and the legislators have taken it upon themselves to make it happen with the new law. It’s an impossible task, so the educators  tailor the testing to get students, without a brain, get through school with what they do know. I wanted to puke. I know now why I am a conservative. The government should not be allowed to interefere with any educational matters. We’d save a bunch of tax money if we eliminate the Department of Education immediately. There I go, I’m venting just like all bloggers do, so I’m caught up in the ether of hate, just like everyone else. You know what? Life was much simpler before the internet and the  world wide web.

Are all of these words that vent all this hatred getting us anywhere?
