God Is Not Dead

It is Good Friday morning and I awoke to a headline reading “atheist war on Easter.” I didn’t read it. I celebrated an unholy atheist holiday on April first, better known as April Fools Day. What the headline reminded me of is a post I had in mind to write last week but never did. I went to see a wonderful movie “God Is Not Dead.” All my life I have fought to learn new arguments to prove that God does exist. The one thread that remains in my mind is how it all got started. Not even the greatest mind of our time known as Stephen Hawking can out reason that one. Stuff just doesn’t happen out of nothing unless there is a Supreme Entity to seed it.

I recommend this movie for everyone, even atheists, especially atheists. At first, I didn’t think a movie about the philosophical argument about God could be entertaining and I delayed going. Yet, a voice inside me said “go.” I was glad because the story is intriguing and one sub-plots is comical. I won’t try to explain the story because it would give too much away, but it occurs inside a modern university and shows them feeding our kids bullshit by liberal, arrogant, know-it-all-professors with tenure. In my opinion tenure is an outdated idea in any school. Why do these people hide behind work rules that protect them from being canned. We have First Amendment rights to speak as we chose. Teachers don’t need tenure to protect them further.

The movie is not about tenure, it is about a professor who forces his ideas on students with a threat of a failing grade if they refuse to buy his theme of “God is  Dead.” In doing so, he denies his students from using their God-given brains from using their free will to accept or deny an idea.

What surprised me at the end of the film was a rolling list of lawsuits filed to protect First Amendment rights against the bully tactics of schools and teachers. The number is staggering.

Peg and I have seen many really great films this season, and we commend Hollywood for producing so many good stories with great actors and even better effects, but “God is not Dead” is the best film we have seen. I give it five stars, and recommend everyone see it.

Germany will become an Islamic State, says Merkel – Well, then it’s time to act!

I’ve got reports about the growing muslim population in Germany from friends who live there. Like all populations the Germans see stuff, but they don’t really want to believe what is happening to them. The growth of the muslim community is somewhat rapid, at the same time, it takes place in an evolutionary way. Thank God it takes nine months to make a human. The real problem is that Islam allows a man to have four wives, and they use that commandment to advantage.  Muslim men in Belgium brag about making babies, and living off Belgium’s generous welfare system. Before long the Ottoman’s will reconquer Europe again.

Previous occupations by Muslims in Europe have lasted for several hundred years before Europeans were able to forcefully drive them back to the mid-east. Unfortunately, I will not live to see that happen, but I might survive to see them conquer a comfortable socialist, sleeping, European continent. At the rate Muslims procreate, I might even live to see it happen in America.

In my sleepy town of Frankfort, IL we have a mosque. It has been here in a somewhat secluded area of farmland for nearly twenty years. The community tolerates Islam as another religion being given freedom under the First Amendment. Additionally, our First amendment right to freedom of speech allows radical Imams into the country to preach a vile messages in the peace-loving mosques. As Islam grows in America, we will begin to see these peaceful people emerge from their chrysalis and morph toward their number one goal to convert America into a Islāmic theocracy.

Islam and America cannot coexist under our Constitution.  Our Muslim president knows that trashing the First Amendment of the Constitution is necessary to promote Islam and convert “we the infidel”.  He quietly imports Muslims under the guise of humanitarian concerns, and has allowed eighty thousand to enter the States from around the world. Who knows how many from Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Syria will be allowed in? He envisions the United States of America with its proud banner of red, white, and blue, stars and stripes replaced by the Muslim moon cradling a star.

If “we the people” want to stay free we must bind together and stop Obama before he finishes his transformation of the Greatest Country on Earth into a seventh century Islāmic nightmare.

If you are a positive thinker you know the power of envisioning a goal. Let me plant a one word vision in your minds,

“Impeachment.”

Dumb Like a Fox

There was a time when I believed Barack Obama was stupid, he didn’t get it. Now I believe the opposite, I am the one who is stupid, and failed to get it. What changed my mind? First let me explain why I believed he didn’t get it. Obama has such radical ideas on everything that it is hard to accept that any true American citizen would deliberately want to destroy the country, especially not the president. As the years have rolled by and I learn more about his agenda, I discover why he has all the radicals working for him, why his ideas are so nutty, and why he wants to “transform the greatest country in the world.”

I have always asked the question transform into what? He has never openly revealed his plan. Most presidents present their vision for the country, Reagan saw us as “The Shining City on the Hill.” Many others saw us as the beacon of hope for the world. The USA is the place where a person can come and find the American Dream. Obama only saw the USA as a place for Hope and Change. Hope for what and change into what? To this day, he has never really disclosed it  publicly. What he hopes for is to change America into a Progressive society. What is a Progressive agenda? If one reads the goals of the Communist Party of America they align with those of the Progressive movement. To me, that makes the Progressive movement a Communist movement. In other words, he wants everyone equal. Not equal in opportunity, but equal in everything. In his Progressive World there isn’t a one percent of rich, but there is a larger than one percent of élite who rule the equals.

A few weeks ago,Obama slipped and told the truth for once.

Obama declared: “If you’ve been successful you didn’t get there on your own.” He reasons, “I’m always struck by people who think ‘well, it must be because I was just so smart’. There are a lot of smart people out there!  ‘It must be because I worked harder than everybody else.’ Let me tell you something—there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there!”

The last sentence is what I call the truth, “Let me tell you something—there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there!”

What he fails to recognize in that truth is that there are people who work very hard every day for eight hours, or maybe even ten hours. They may even have more than one job to make ends meet. They punch out and go home. Then, there are others who work hard everyday for twenty hours, and who finally go home exhausted, to a sleeping family. They are the owners of a business. They eat, sleep and dream their business.

No one denies that most people work hard at their jobs. My father was the hardest working man I ever knew, but he would never have invested his meager savings in any venture that might have caused him to lose it. My mother always wanted to start a business. She recognized the idea of making a profit from her talent and labor, but dad never allowed her to think about it. So here we are people. Good hard-working people, like Grumpa Joe’s parents, would share economically with the one percent who invested considerable money, time, and talent to  become successful. Most of these people also employ people like my mom and dad. My parents would never buy into the concept of government sharing because they survived on what they could earn using their own talent. They would have considered equalization of money from the government as charity, and the idea of going on charity repulsed them, it meant they were unable to fend for themselves. No man given the gift of life from God should depend on another without desperate need. What my mom and dad did believe was

“that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness….”

So my friends, when Obama stuck his foot into his mouth with his preposterous statement he needed a diversion to take some heat from his life. A phone call to a couple of his Dumb-o-crat pals with a suggestion to use an Alinsky diversion was in order. The good soldiers went right into action.

They knew their statements would be seen as a  violation of  the First Amendment right to free speech. The mayors knew it was stupid to speak of denying  a business license to a legitimate business that would employ people in their towns, and they knew the gay and lesbian community would mindlessly jump at an opportunity to showcase their cause, and they knew the media would make it headline news. What they failed to recognize is that the American public would see right through their stupidity and turn Chick-Fil-A into a conservative statement of support for the Constitution. Eat mor chikin!

Is It a Religion or a Political Ideology?

     I have a problem with the Muslims building a Mosque at Ground Zero. It is a stupid move designed to show us that Muslims are going to convert we the infidels, and they have begun the process. It is something called Dhimmitude. The real problem I have with the mosque is they have a right to do it. The very first sentence in the first amendment to the constitution specifically states

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof:”

that Islam is a religion, then the boilerplate readings give it a tone of peace and love. So, why then are the extremists such hateful, revengeful, and ruthless killers of non-Muslims?

     I believe it goes to the fact that Islam is also a political ideology. They start by feeding the lovey, peacey thing and evolve into the power over all men “do as I say” thing. All across the Mid-East are countries whose politics are Islamic, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Liberia, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, and a few I left out. Egypt and Turkey pretend to be secular, but can turn into Islamic states overnight.

     The one tenet of Islam that is scary, is a thing called Sharia law. The religion declares there is but one set of laws that count, those of God. Sharia is that law in their eyes. What that means is that Muslim believers can only live by one set of laws, and that is Sharia. Be damned if the USA has a Constitution and is a Nation of Laws, they do not give a shit. The end-result is that the religion dictates how they want to live in a country. Once they begin lobbying for their own set of laws to dictate to the rest of us they are a political entity.

My logic goes like this:

Islam is a religion

Religion is not politics

Therefore, Islam is not political.

On the other hand, if I use this logic something different comes out.

Islam follows Sharia Law

Sharia Law rules all

Therefore, Islam rules all.

     Both of these theorems are true. The dilemma here is that there is a conflict between the two tenets of Islam and our Constitution. It is my opinion that Islam cannot co-exist peacefully in the United States of America if Muslims continue to believe that Sharia law is integral to their beliefs. On the other hand, if they adopt US Law as the dominant law of the land, and denounce Sharia, they have the same rights as any other US citizen.

     A Muslim who continues to embrace Sharia as the only true law will be in constant conflict with his principles and as such presents a threat to the tranquility of the non-Muslim citizenry.

     The preamble to the Constitution:

     We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States of America.

     Can the US meld the Sharia law into the US Justice System? If so, then Justice and Tranquility might be possible. If, the two are in conflict events will arise that destroy the domestic tranquility. We will have a country within a country. Two sets of rules on the same street, same town, and same state. Do we invent Muslim police to enforce Sharia law, and our regular police to enforce US law? How would that work? If I commit adultery, and I am a Muslim, Sharia defines it as a crime and defines the punishment. It is quite different from US law. The country will tear itself apart much the same way, as it did when half of us owned slaves and half did not.

     We cannot, we must not, allow Islam to practice in the USA and expect the country to remain united.

TASS, USA Style

History repeats itself, but we tend to deny that the same thing will happen to us because we are so much smarter. The generation that allowed a stupid event to occur did not have the history to look back upon. Because we have the history to learn from we will never let that stupid thing happen to us. Even if we didn’t have the history, we are much smarter than the last generation was. The arguments against making the same mistake continue to go on, and we continue living with our heads securely lodged in our asses. We are too stubborn to believe a stupid thing like the loss of a first amendment right, or a second amendment right can happen, even after repeated attempts to destroy these rights.

This week something happened that woke me up and caused me to start writing again. If I choose to ignore the Administration’s attempt to block news from an organization that opposes it’s view, then I am remiss and deserve to lose my rights . I, however, choose to speak out. During the campaign preceding the election of BHO to the presidency, I often spoke of my fears regarding the man and his intentions. I “felt” that he was heading us into a socialist direction. As the campaign progressed, his language and demeanor made me more certain I was correct. Now, I am convinced without a doubt, that Obama wants to be  the next Fidel Castro of our hemisphere. He will not rest until he has destroyed the Constitution, Capitalism, and the Country of the USA. He continues to lower our country to the level of every other country in the world.  He wants us to be the same as everyone else. The idea of the USA being the greatest country in the world is foreign to him. I digress.

Our Constitutional right to a free press is bothering the man. His Communications Director , Anita Dunn openly admitted that during the campaign they controlled the press. They did not allow interviews with the press for fear that some smart ass might ask a question that they were not prepared to answer with ambiguities. That is why Joe the Plumber became such a threat to Obama. He asked one question that Obama did not have a scripted answer for. BO’s answer gave us a peek into the real direction he was headed. 

His attack on Fox News was a blatantly open attempt to get his administration to control the media just as they had done during the campaign. Life is so much easier when the answers dictate the questions being asked. Instead we see reporters like the little boy who asked the President, “Why do people hate you so much?”
