Day 34-Quarantine-I’m Sorry

Back on Day 12, I wrote a sarcastic piece about GM and their promise to build ventilators for COVID-19 patients. I really didn’t believe they had a chance of coming up with something that looked different from a Chevy or Cadillac. What I failed to remember is that they had an empty plant in Kokomo, Indiana where they made electronic parts for Chevies and Cadillacs. It was a natural for making ventilators. Where they got the workforce to assemble them I don’t know. Maybe they rehired all the workers they laid off when they stopped making starters and alternators in the USA. What ever, I owe them an apology. I am sorry GM for making you the butt of my disbelief, and thank you for coming through for the country.

In my secret life I have always wanted a Cadillac, but changed my mind after owning a Toyota. The reason is that I take my trusty Avalon to the dealer for oil changes and tire rotations. Each time I walk through the shop on my way to the customer waiting area I walk between piles of Cadillac parts like motors, and transmissions spread all over the floor under skeletons of Cadillacs on lifts I Don’t think I have ever seen a Toyota spread out on the floor. When I first bought my car the dealer handled  Cadillac, Toyota, and Jeeps. They lost the Jeep line when Obama manhandled the automotive industry during the 2008 economic melt-down.

I Am So Sorry I Am White

I am so sick of hearing people apologizing for being white. Each time, I say to myself, “this person is severely mentally warped.” What would that person want? Would they want to reverse the race of his/her parent? Why? and why would you be sorry for your parent’s race? There is nothing in the universe that one can do to change it.  I suppose if you are like the Rachel Dolezal dame who paints her face black, and gets her hair done in kinky curls that one can say they have done something about it. To me, people who apologize for their race have zero respect and love for their parents. There is absolutely no basis for apology. If anything I would criticize the parents for conceiving the child at all. Perhaps there should be an eleventh commandment added to the ten Moses brought down from the mountain. “Thou shalt not conceive a child with a person of your own race.” Maybe we should insist that at the time of birth we ask the child which race it wants to be. We’re headed that way with gender, why not race? Or better yet, we should make a law that once a woman announces she his pregnant that she have the embryo tested for DNA. If the child is pure white it must be aborted and the woman given a directory of men of non-white color for impregnation. How the hell stupid are we going to get?

Here is my proposal to fix the problem: Make everyone who apologizes for being white the slave of a black person.

These liberal progressives disgust me. I’m sure Dr. Frankenstein would reject them for a brain transplant.

Forgive Me

Yesterday I posted two garbage posts and I apologize for doing so. These were incomplete pieces of comments I made using  my i-phone. When I discovered what I did I went into shock because they looked like SPAM. That is when I remembered having a problem knowing what the icons represented on my phone. I have never made a mistake of this magnitude before. These posts are not representative of what I intend for this blog. I have deleted both so If you click on them they will now tell you that what you are looking for can not be found.

Make Him Stand in the Corner

I salute you, the Veterans of the US armed services. Regardless of your age, branch of service or duty, I thank you for keeping us protected and for marching into duty at the command of our country.

A dear friend of mine sent  these posters and I want to share them with you. They bring back many memories of my boyhood, when the United States was considered a great country, and our president did not fly around the world apologizing for our actions. Quite the opposite, it was the rest of the world that was thanking us and our service people for their sacrifice.

When ever we see Obama bowing and apologizing, we the people should make him stand in the corner and read the history of the American Revolution, Spanish-American war, WW I, WWII, the Korean police action, the Viet Nam war, the war to liberate Kuwait, the war to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and the war in Afghanistan to put down the Taliban. When he is done with the history lesson, I would make him watch videos of the Muslim hijacked airplanes crashing into the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon.

He needs to understand that the millions of US soldiers that died were not dying for gain in those countries, but rather for the liberation of Peoples from tyranny.  He needs to understand that the U.S.A. dropped the bomb on Japan, not to be mean, but to end a war that would have gone on for several more years at the expense of millions of more lives.

What Obama needs to apologize for, is duping the citizenry of this great country into believing his hope and change was something other than socialism.

Never Mind

Government"s Idea for HealthcareIn days long past on Saturday Night Live,  Gilda Radner played the part of a ranting TV news reporter. Her co-anchors watched  her in puzzlement.  At the end of  her piece, the anchors would tell her the facts were  all wrong.  She would look at them sheepishly, and  say “never mind.”

That is exactly the way I feel about my last post  “They Just Don’t Get It.” I went off on a rant, and in my fever got lost in the argument. I made a huge mistake in math. My argument was that the government could buy health insurance for the forty seven million uninsured from the private sector for forty seven million dollars. Great deal, right?  Wrong. I was off by a factor of ten thousand. The cost wouldn’t be forty seven million it would be more like four hundred and seventy billion. A big difference.

 NEVER MIND.

I have edited the piece by cutting the erroneous math. The rest of the argument holds.

I apologize for selling the same snake oil as the the liberals. I will be more careful in the future.
