ROBIN OBAMAHOOD IS BACK!!!
As a brief reminder for those who forgot or for
many that didn’t know.

Here is what happened, quietly, on January 1, 2015:

Medicare tax went from 1.45% to 2.35%

Top Income tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6%
PUNISH THE WORKERS….TO REWARD THE NON WORKERS
Top Income payroll tax went from 37.4% to 52.2%
MORE PUNISHMENT FOR WORKING HARD!
Capital Gains tax went from 15% to 28%
MORE TAX UPON INCOME THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN TAXED!
Dividend tax went from 15% to 39.6%
MORE PUNISHMENT FOR INVESTING WISELY AND MAKING GOOD DECISIONS!
Estate tax went from 0% to 55% PUNISHMENT FOR SAVING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION! ONLY TO HAVE IT GO TO THE GOVERNMENT!

A 3.5% Real Estate transaction tax was added. MORE PUNISHMENT FOR INVESTING IN A HOME OR RENTAL PROPERTY!

Remember this fact:

These taxes were all passed solely with Democrat votes, Not a single Republican voted for these new taxes.

These taxes were all passed in the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

If you think that it is important that everyone in the U.S. should know this, the many millions who don’t yet, then pass it on.

DAMN IT WORKING AMERICA . . . WAKE UP!!!

I Love You So!

During America’s Bicentennial celebration in 1976, I was the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout troop number 1776 from Alsip, Illinois. I proudly led the troop to Owasippi Scout Reservation owned by the Chicago Area Council near Whitehall, Michigan. Going to scout camp for two weeks was a big adventure and during the bicentennial it was even more so.

At the final ceremonial campfire the older scouts led us in song. It is then I heard for the first time what I consider to be one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard. The Senior Scout taught us the simple lyrics and melody. He divided us into groups and then led the song in round. The camp fire, and the starry night sky, created an ambiance of pride in America. We left the campfire in silent reverence after singing this stirring song. I am sorry that I could not find a video or recording to feature, but here are the lyrics.

Happy birthday America.

America, America,
How can I tell you, How I feel?
You have given me many treasures,
I love you so.

America, America,
Land of hope and liberty,
Freedom rings from every mountain,
From sea to sea

Before GM Stood for Government Motors

One picture is worth a thousand words, so here are twenty-one thousand words. These are photos of billboards posted by General Motors in the Detroit area at a time in history when America was exceptional, proud, and still the best country in the world. It was at a time when blacks, hispanics, muslims, and gays thought so too. None of them needed demonstrations, hash tags, and civil disobedience to show they belonged. People had purpose in life because they worked. The war on poverty was not yet established, food stamps were not invented, and if you claimed unemployment insurance it was because you were unemployable for some drastic reason. Medicare was still a figment of some democrats imagination, and health care is what you did everyday to eat right, sleep right, and keep physically active right. There was no need for a war on drugs either.

This was a time when owning a car was still special. Your car was an expression of your self, and gave you another degree of freedom.
