Comment from Grumpa Joe
Purple Drank
It never ceases to amaze me that an old dog can learn new stuff everyday. A blogger friend with the courage to write about race issues and specifically the Trayvon Martin cover for Obama taught me a new term today, “purple drank.” I keep vacillating about my being a racist, but I can’t buy into it. A racist is one who believes that members of one race are better, smarter, or stronger than another. Such as, Grumpa Joe is a very white conservative who thinks he is smarter than any black man on earth. Well, I have to tell you that I am not smarter than the many black chemists of the ghetto who constantly brew concoctions that make them feel better at a lower cost. If only these genius chemists would redirect their energies toward getting themselves off the government plantation they wouldn’t need the chemistry to make themselves feel good.
One blog I follow is Just Cruisin 2. I like it because the blogger is a car nut, and I like to put myself into that same category. The joy of reading his blog is the nugget of wisdom like the piece I reblogged yesterday on leukophobia, and the one today on Travon. Just Cruisin 2 tackles the issue of racism, and the stupidity of the American Press.
