Last night I did what I promised myself I would not do. I watched the senior citizen tell me what a great job he is doing. Except he is not. I gave him forty-five minutes of energy before he began to lose it nationwide. I was off by ten minutes. He lasted longer than I predicted. I am four years older than him and I don’t have a lick of political experience to match his fifty years in Washington, but I would do a much better job of running the country than he has done. What I enjoyed the most about his speech occurred when he turned to the Red side of the room and began heckling back and forth with them.
Vice President Kamala Harris gets my nod for her continuous standing ovation. However, she loses to Nancy on the springy stand-up.
Looking at all the tired, old, and wrinkled faces of our government made the biggest impression of the night. Chuck Schummer wins the “most wrinkled face of all” contest beating out a box of Sunsweet’s best prunes. At least Nancy spent a few hours moisturizing her face to a smooth shiny sheen. One of the supremes stood out as one longing for recognition. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson stood alone at the end watching the wrinkles pass her by without so much as a hint of recognition. I give the House speaker credit for his ability to match Nancy and her ability to express what she is thinking without uttering a sound.
The only thing I give Biden an atta boy on is his theft of pushing for childcare for young kids of working moms. This is clearly stolen from Ivanka Trump who pushed her father for the same thing. I thought his screaming about making the rich pay more taxes was wasted energy. Obviously he has never been told that the Trump tax cuts helped the country not hurt it. What will we gain by extracting a few billion dollars from the rich and then spending a few trillion to balance the deal?
Waiting an hour for the man to arrive made me feel that his importance overshadowed my time. His speech made me feel like he was angry with me for living and for showing up. After all, the King does not answer to his serfs. We all live to serve him and his stupid policies. DON’T WE??? The answer is a big fat NO, he serves us.
If I were the House Speaker, I wouldn’t have torn the speech in half like Nancy did, I would have set fire to it on the dias.
I predict we won’t see or hear from Joe Biden for the next two weeks because he’ll be on vacation recovering from his effort.
Normally, I don’t like to post articles that other people have written, but when I get lazy and a great piece of writing comes across my desk I get lazy. Here is a list of questions that every American should be asking for answers to. When did we the people lose control of our government? When did we get so complacent as to allow the crazies among us to take over? I give Victor Davis Hanson credit for flexing his cojones, and his right to free speech to remind us of all the stupid, lawless things that are going on in the country today. What ever happened to the “Rule of Law?”

The Coup We Never Knew
Did someone or something seize
control of the United States?

What happened to the U.S. border? Where did it go? Who erased it? Why and how did 5 million people enter our country illegally? Did Congress secretly repeal our immigration laws? Did Joe Biden issue an executive order allowing foreign nationals to walk across the border and reside in the United States as they pleased?
Since when did money not have to be paid back? Who insisted that the more dollars the federal government printed, the more prosperity would follow? When did America embrace zero interest? Why do we believe $30 trillion in debt is no big deal?
When did clean-burning, cheap, and abundant natural gas become the equivalent of dirty coal? How did prized natural gas that had granted America’s wishes of energy self-sufficiency, reduced pollution, and inexpensive electricity become almost overnight a pariah fuel whose extraction was a war against nature? Which lawmakers, which laws, which votes of the people declared natural gas development and pipelines near criminal?
Was it not against federal law to swarm the homes of Supreme Court justices, to picket and to intimidate their households in efforts to affect their rulings? How then with impunity did bullies surround the homes of Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Samuel Alito, Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, John Roberts, and Clarence Thomas—furious over a court decision on abortion? How could these mobs so easily throng our justices’ homes, with placards declaring “Off with their d—s”?
Since when did Americans create a government Ministry of Truth? And on whose orders did the FBI contract private news organizations to censor stories it did not like and writers whom it feared?
How did we wake up one morning to new customs of impeaching a president over a phone call? Of the speaker of the House tearing up the State of the Union address on national television? Of barring congressional members from serving on their assigned congressional committees?
When did we assume the FBI had the right to subvert the campaign of a candidate it disliked? Was it legal suddenly for one presidential candidate to hire a foreign ex-spy to subvert the campaign of her rival?
Was some state or federal law passed that allowed biological males to compete in female sports? Did Congress enact such a law? Did the Supreme Court guarantee that biological male students could shower in gym locker rooms with biological women? Were women ever asked to redefine the very sports they had championed?
When did the government pass a law depriving Americans of their freedom during a pandemic? In America can health officials simply cancel rental contracts or declare loan payments in suspension? How could it become illegal for mom-and-pop stores to sell flowers or shoes during a quarantine but not so for Walmart or Target?
Since when did the people decide that 70 percent of voters would not cast their ballots on Election Day? Was this revolutionary change the subject of a national debate, a heated congressional session, or the votes of dozens of state legislatures?
What happened to Election Night returns? Did the fact that Americans created more electronic ballots and computerized tallies make it take so much longer to tabulate the votes?
When did the nation abruptly decide that theft is not a crime, assault not a felony? How can thieves walk out with bags of stolen goods, without the wrath of angry shoppers, much less fear of the law?
Was there ever a national debate about the terrified flight from Afghanistan? Who planned it and why?
What happened to the once-trusted FBI? Why almost overnight did its directors decide to mislead Congress, to deceive judges with concocted tales from fake dossiers and with doctored writs? Did Congress pass a law that our federal leaders in the FBI or CIA could lie under oath with impunity?
Who redefined our military and with whose consent? Who proclaimed that our chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff could call his Chinese Communist counterpart to warn him that America’s president was supposedly unstable? Was it always true that retired generals routinely libeled their commander-in-chief as a near Nazi, a Mussolini, an adherent of the tools of Auschwitz?
Were Americans ever asked whether their universities could discriminate against their sons and daughters based on their race? How did it become physically dangerous to speak the truth on a campus? Whose idea was it to reboot racial segregation and bias as “theme houses,” “safe spaces,” and“diversity”? How did that happen in America?
How did a virus cancel the Constitution? Did the lockdowns rob us of our sanity? Or was it the woke hysteria that ignited our collective madness?
We are beginning to wake up from a nightmare of a country we no longer recognize, and from a coup we never knew.
The gun control argument prevails. The video below is an excellent argument for having high-capacity magazines in your weapons. I’m sure liberals will cry and scream about the need for any weapons at all. My argument is that a bullet gets results faster than a 911 call.
This morning I read a stupid article about suicide. The author stated that 18,000 some suicides will happen this year because there is a gun in the house. Folks, if you are contemplating suicide and you don’t have a gun in the house, I am certain you will find another way to kill yourself.
We need guns and ammo to protect ourselves from criminals, and a run away government desiring to transform America into a communist state.
Just what is “legitimate media?” I thought all media like TV, radio, cable, newsprint, magazines, and even websites are legitimate according the First Amendment of the Constitution. Somehow, President Obama and Vice President Biden believe otherwise. To them “legitimate means under their control.”
I have friends and relatives who believe only the mainstream news outlets. They have sated themselves on the Kool-aid generously poured for them by our government. Does anyone remember Jim Jones? He was a cult leader who gave new meaning to Kool-aid. In 1978 he led a colony of believers to establish Jonestown in the jungles of Guyana in South America where the First Amendment rights do not apply. There he fed his followers the message he wanted them to hear. He controlled them completely.
Things went horribly wrong when an US Congressman visited Jonestown after hearing some of his constituents were being held against their will. The thought of losing his tiny empire to the US Government caused Jones to panic. Again, he controlled the message. He told his followers that the US would come from out of the sky to murder their babies. Not having any other information his followers believed him. He ultimately talked them into the only solution he had, “revolutionary suicide.” Over 900 people died.
The USA is far from revolutionary suicide, but these things begin small and evolve into ideas and movements that become mainstream. Ultimately, the tighter gun control regulations will evolve into gun registrations, then gun confiscation, and finally annihilation of non-believers.
Obama’s media, those in his pocket, are helping him control the message.
“I am… for freedom of the press, and against all violations of the Constitution to silence by force and not by reason the complaints or criticisms, just or unjust, of our citizens against the conduct of their agents.” –Thomas Jefferson to Elbridge Gerry, 1799. ME 10:78
It is my opinion that editors and reporters working in the main-stream media are not capable of separating themselves from their own personal politics. Their bias is too obvious and as such they lose their arguments to readers who can think and reason. They legitimate media feed us the “Kool-aid” being supplied to them from the Minister of Public Announcements.
Once a listener has heard a message often enough he begins to believe it. I admit that I listen to only conservative media, I like the message. I believe the message, I am an apostle of the conservative message. My own conversion to conservatism began shortly after I graduated from college. Until that time, I followed the democrat line my parents followed. I’ve said it many times before, my parents registered as democrats, but lived a conservative life. They believed what their neighbors and bosses told them, “the democrats are for the working man.” They didn’t have a clue about how the democrats did that, but my dad believed it nonetheless, and voted for whoever his boss told them to vote for, and my mom voted for whoever my dad told her to vote for. It is the democrat way.
My conversion came from discussions with a fellow engineer. Joe De Maris was two years older than me, but his arguments about the virtues of conservatism made sense. I began to see how the principles were the same ones my parents lived by. Joe introduced me to Barry Goldwater the then Senator from Arizona. By Joe’s recommendation, I read Senator Goldwater’s book “Conscience of a Conservative.” Goldwater’s words convinced me that I am a conservative.
I also lived through Hitler’s annihilation of six million Jews during WWII, the Cold War, and watched the grand experiment of Socialism conducted by Joe Stalin, and his method of slaying non-believers to get his constituents to fall in line. By the time I came out of the closet as a conservative, I knew Socialism was not the way I wanted to live.
Even though Joe outed me, I fell for the message conveyed by John Kennedy. I voted for him, then I fell for the Jimmy Carter, I voted for him. Both times I really thought I was doing the right thing. Although I had mixed feelings about Carter. He won because his opponent was Gerald Ford the Blame-Bush candidate of the time. Ford was also the only president ever to hold the office without running for it or being voted for. Then Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned. President Nixon nominated Gerald Ford to fill the VP spot. Then Nixon resigned to avoid impeachment over the Watergate scandal.
As a side note, it is also my opinion that the Watergate scandal was kindergarten stuff compared to what Benghazi-gate is, and our current president is skating free on that one because of the legitimate media is too lazy and incapable of reporting and asking real questions. Instead, they accept the line being fed to them from the Minister of Public Announcements. It was the legitimate media reporters Woodward and Bernstein from the Washington Post who investigated and relentlessly went for Nixon’s throat. Today, these guys are heroes. Who will be the legitimate hero of Benghazi-gate?
