Today, I cleared my desk and did it quick enough to allow time for some of my news sites. They made me sick. I’m tired of reading article after article about lies, fraud, losses of liberty, and gay rights. When will this commotion end? Probably not in my lifetime. Remember I’m only at middle age so I have another seventy-five years to see this crap roll around the news everyday. Some of you youngsters have many more years than I do, and I hope you are as tired of hearing the same BS too.
Most of it is the result of the Progressive movement. They are good at team work, I give them that. One jerk speaks out and declares me a racist because I spoke negatively about a black, and their entire nation of Progressives jump in to support.
To me that is good and very bad. It is good because it supports the Progressive movement, it is bad because it supports the Progressive movement. I wish Republicans would develop the same team building ability. Our guys rely on logical argument even if they have to argue with one of their own. Catch a Republican in a lie and another Republican will call him on it. Democrats catch a colleague in a lie and they will build on it.
There is a lot of talk about the division among the Republican party, but it is the Democrats that are making hay with that. I believe within the Republican group they are strategizing to beat Democrats. Republicans berated House Speaker John Boehner and Congressman Paul Ryan for selling out to the Dems on the latest budget deal. I contend that they put forth a strategy which looks forward to the 2014 election. Warring factions within the Republican party criticized Boehner for missing a great opportunity to beat back the Democrats. Again, I say Boehner put forth a strategy of sucking in the Dems by giving them something they can use at the elections. They reached across the aisle in a noon-partisan way. It’ll sound good. Hopefully, a united Republican party will drive the knife into the heart of the beast with the healthcare devil. The Dems won’t have a leg to stand on. The Republicans will only remind them of the gift they got during the budget deal.
