Undoing The Wrong

I haven’t posted anything too political since Trump took office, but this article is different. Author Joan Swirsky compiled a list of Trump Positives that will make liberal heads explode. I see terribly negative postings across Facebook by liberals who fear that all Trump is doing is stealing benefits from We the People. They post videos of people’s dying children whose parent’s tearfully proclaim their kid will die because the Obama care pre-existing condition provision is removed from the new AHCA. Others fear their kids will be stupid because they will have the opportunity to pick a non-public school to attend. They see the rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer, but do not see nor want to see that they might be able to find a job. What I find most disturbing about this list is the amount of time the President has to spend undoing the stupid things Obama put into place. During the Obama years I told people it will take a hundred years to undo the damage he inflicted on us, today I am predicting it will take two hundred years to do the job.

The Juggernaut and the Jerks

By Joan Swirsky —— Bio and Archives May 15, 2017

Since President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017, a number of people have scrupulously monitored his accomplishments. They include Sean Hannity’s producer Sweet Baby James, Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft, conservative commentator and former presidential candidate Gary Bauer, and Jeff Dunetz, creator of the blog The Lid, among others. The listing below was compiled by the above-mentioned people and represents many but not all of the non-stop accomplishments of President Trump––the juggernaut––during his first three months in office.

But the list does not elaborate on the accomplishments of the first three weeks of the fourth month, which include, among other things, the completion of his cabinet appointments, signing a cybersecurity executive order for a sweeping review of the federal government’s digital vulnerabilities and the adoption of specific security practices; an unprecedented trade deal with China involving certain foods, natural gas, and biotech products; creating a voter-fraud commission to clean up the system; preparation for a devastating cyberattack against America’s electric grid; and the firing of FBI Director James Comey. Nor is there any mention of the hundreds if not thousands of personal phone calls the president has made to shakers and movers in the U.S. as well as world leaders.

If these accomplishments are not familiar, that’s because 99 percent of the media––the jerks––are a de facto arm of the Democratic National Committee and the far-left fringe, and are so terminally distressed by the fact that Mr. Trump won the presidency that they obstinately refuse to report what by any objective standards is the news. This is because:

  • They’ve been pushing leftist values for well over a half century and are unable to admit that their anti-Trump, pro-Hillary message was an utter and complete failure.
  • They are part and parcel of the vast, contaminated, rancid, crooked, pay-for-play, corrupt swamp that candidate Trump promised to drain, and President Trump is now draining.
  • The man they mock––for his syntax and phrasing, style of governing, unpredictability, and so-called contradictions––has both confounded and trumped them at every turn.

This is why they remain fixated on the fairy tale of a Trump-Russian connection. They have nothing else––as in nothing!

UP, UP & AWAY

At this early point,

  • Consumer confidence is the highest in 17 years;
  • Small business confidence highest in 11 years;
  • Stock market is up 10 percent since inauguration, up 15 percent since election;
  • Exxon Mobil announced $20 billion-45,000 job expansion in U.S.;
  • Charter Communications announced $25 billion expansion, creating 20,000 jobs in U.S.;
  • Accenture announced $1.4 billion expansion, creating 15,000 jobs in U.S.;
  • Intel announced $7 billion expansion, creating 10,000 jobs in the U.S.
  • Pres. Trump ordered renegotiation of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with Canada and Mexico;
  • Named former Congressman Scott Garrett, an outspoken critic of the Export-Import Bank to the bank’s Board of Directors
  • Today, U.S. unemployment is at its lowest level since 1988!

The U.S. debt decreased by $100 billion during Pres. Trump’s first hundred days; the U.S. Manufacturing Index soared to a 33-year high! In the first month alone, he added 298,000 jobs; housing sales are off the charts right now…in 2011, the average time a house was on the market was 84 days, now, it’s just 45 days; illegal immigration is down 67% since the Inauguration; NATO announced Allied spending is up $10 billion.

This Mt. Everest of accomplishments belongs to a man who is straight out of central casting. Every day, he looks like a million dollars and is stunningly successful in his dealings with everyone from heads of state to manual laborers to ardent fans to entrenched skeptics. Every day, he brings both ebullience and laser-like focus to a job he clearly relishes, displays admirable courage in making hard choices, and is zooming along at warp speed to Make America Great Again!

All this while never hesitating to take on the sacred cows of the leftist jerks among us––political correctness and global warming rank high––and to illuminate the public about the widespread scourge of the fake news and fake polls that those same leftist jerks tried but failed to foist upon us in the November election.

It was easy for the media when all they had to do was pretend that 94-million unemployed citizens, a weakened military, alienated allies, a genocidal Iran deal, and unprecedented escalation of Muslim Brotherhood operatives implanted in the highest reaches of our government, and an increase in the national debt by $9 trillion to almost $20 trillion, were nothing to worry about––all while they asked the guy in the Oval Office what his favorite ice-cream flavor was!

Now there’s a grown-up in charge and the children among us (Democrats, leftists, progressives, whatever they’re calling themselves these days) are as ineffectual––indeed, impotent––as they were when Donald J. Trump announced for the presidency in June of 2015.

Wanna see Democrats and media hacks weep? Hand them this list!

I Have To Give Up Reading

169526.jpg4.jpg

Screen-Shot-2016-10-24-at-12.07.43-PM.png

A year ago I read a book titled Under A Flaming Sky, The Great Hinkley Firestorm of 1894. It was a story about a huge forest fire that caught a Minnesota town by surprise and many people perished. I just finished a book titled The Children’s Blizzard which tells the story of a perfect storm that catches a North Dakota town by surprise and freezes over two hundred people to death. Both stories are about immigrant families who homesteaded to make a better life for themselves. In between these two stories I read The Coyote’s Bicycle another story about immigration and the hardship of sneaking over the border to find a better life for the sneakers. None of these immigrants considered for a moment to leave their difficult life to return to controlling governments, poverty, and hunger. Just as these poor souls never once thought about moving back to their fatherland I never thought these books were about immigrants.

Back in the eighteen hundreds when America was still young and under populated  a new invention called railroads had just completed major investments in laying rail into the newly acquired territories west of the Mississippi River. Without people to serve the railroads would not survive. They advertised in foreign countries about the generous homestead policy of the United States. Come stake out your claim and receive one hundred and sixty acres of land free. For people who lived on a Lord’s estate without any rights to the land this was a message from heaven. People left countries like Norway, and Sweden on the promise of free land. They used their entire savings to make the trip by boat and then by train if they had the money. Most used wagons and oxen to wend the way west to the Minnesota and the Dakotas. They settled in prairies of flat land thinking how easy it would be to farm. They didn’t find trees from which to make homes so they made shelter using sod. Only after they had established their claims and began farming with seed they brought from Europe were they able to think about building proper houses of wood.

The United State’s liberal immigration policy encouraged people to come and settle. Only after the Civil war did the country begin to pass laws restricting immigration. Poor economic conditions caused the States and the Federal government to restrict certain labor groups. Since then many more reforms have been invented to correct immigration for various reasons. Many of the reasons concerned security such as during the WW’s and 9-11.

The USA has good immigration policy and existing laws., but they are being undermined by internal organizations who wish to force feed the country their liberal agenda. New policies like open borders which challenge the sovereignty of the nation, or the drive to become Europeanized by adopting Europe’s screwy concept of achieving diversity by hoping people of many different origins will assimilate into the general population without a natural desire to do so. It is no secret that Europe worships the USA and our unique blend of people’s which makes us so distinctive. Europe opened its borders and standardized their money thinking the people would thereby become one. People in our country want to be more like Europe but we already have open borders between our states, standard currency, a standard language, an economy that fuels the world, and assimilation. Europe can only dream about becoming like the USA. We are Illinoisans, New Yorker’s, Floridians, Texans, etc. but at the same time we are also Americans. In Europe the discreet countries all have unique cultures, unique languages, centuries old discreet histories, and in a few of those countries they have a penchant for laws. They have a hunger for socialism believing in equal outcomes for all. Many, like France and Spain have had communist governments. The Eastern bloc countries were all under socialist rule for seventy years. Why in the hell would we want to be like them can only be answered by saying there are people in this country that are traitors to liberty. The sadness of this is that there are millions of these traitors who claim to love our country and only want to make it a better place to live like Norway or Sweden. Places that have a 75% tax and still have trouble making thier beautiful system work. If we were to deport all of these traitorous people, and replace them with people who currently live in depressed countries and seriously desire to come to the USA, we would be the number one country on the planet in every category.

Unfortunately, we will never deport the losers because our Constitution guarantees freedom for all. This means the bad guys who preach evil are free to do so. Those who practice religions totally contrary to our faiths are free to do so. It means people who practice Progressivism are free to do so. It also means that those of us who fear our country will lose to the many factions can never rest from fighting to keep freedom and liberty.

Goodbye Old Friend

If you have ever lived with someone or something for a long, long time you will understand the meaning of the phrase “parting is such sweet sorrow.”  I have recently parted with an old friend. I spent considerable time with him over the past four weeks and have learned immensely. I fell in love with his words, and images. His country is one in which I would live if I had to live life over. There is but one problem with living with him in this land I would have to be racist. This country is very friendly to those who are not black, Mexican, or Indian.

a2d9d2f46047729b43bc24e4af9371e4.jpg

The friend I speak of is a novel titled “Texas” by James Michener. One thousand ninety-six pages long I estimate it to be filled with six hundred sixty-thousand words, or the equivalent of seven ordinary novels it was a joy to read. This is the eleventh Michener book I have read, and each has been engrossing. Although he plans them similarly reading one or two books will not give away his secret to success. If I had to tell you which is my favorite there is no argument it is his first novel “Tales of the South Pacific.” Out of the forty-one titles he wrote I read six, and they are jumbo novels of a thousand pages. I loved each and every page of his writing and the historical perspective.

Texas gave me a new  perspective on Mexico, Mexicans, illegal border crossings and the reasons why our country is now experiencing the difficulty of illegal immigration. I won’t try to explain it all here I’ll let you read this book and learn from it yourself. Did it change my mind about anything? Nope. I still believe, and know, that Mexicans are great workers, good family people, and hungry for a better life. I also still believe that the borders of the United States are set, and define where the US ends and Mexico begins. I also believe in the sovereignty of our nation,  our system of laws, our economic system, and politics.

There is within the United States a group of people who are firmly committed to return land stretching from Los Angeles to Santa Fe, once a remote part of Mexico, to their origins. These people believe that there should be a section between the two countries where there exists a population that speaks two languages, but the principal one being Spanish. They believe kids should be taught in Spanish until they are finished with grammar school. They believe that this population should have dual citizenships with free movement between the two separate countries. They believe both sets of laws should be maintained.

The Supreme court ruled unanimously to extend bi-lingual schooling (Lau vs Nichols) based on the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Schools all across America have been working feverishly to teach in multiple languages in order to get government money. Quite frankly, I don’t think the government money is worth having to teach multiple languages. Think about that, schools have to hire multi-lingual teachers or provide classes with a teacher who knows the language of the child. What if the school is unlucky enough to have kids from Mexico, China, Pakistan, Sudan, Mongolia, Hungary and Belarus. What would you do? I know what I would do, I’d forget the ruling, and let the kids fend for themselves, they would learn English within a year like my brother did, or like the kids of every immigrant who ever came to these shores. Instead we have school systems that bend over backwards to get those government dollars. If we need to correct this terrible system we will have to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Going a bit further off my original rant, I can say that I have never met a Mexican I didn’t like, but I have met a bunch of politicians who are just plain assholes who live off the government tit.

Maybe the time has come that the United States of America should reboot. When a computer  goes crazy, the first thing we do is shut it down to re-boot it. This usually resets the software to its original settings, and clears out extraneous garbage until things work again. Perhaps we need to shut down the government and restart with the simple settings we had when the Constitution was adopted.

I guess I can make the point that the value of reading a book like Texas is that it is thought-provoking and certainly educational. I made a big deal about only one of a thousand points that exist in this narrative. I could make a lifetime of blog posts about ideas that came to me from Michener’s work.

Elections Have Consequences

trump-media-crying.jpg“US” by Paul Genova

  (Mr. Paul Genova has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Wireless Telecom Group Inc. since June 30, 2016.

I haven’t said too much about this election since the start…but this is how I feel….
  I’m noticing that a lot of people aren’t graciously accepting the fact that their candidate lost.
In fact you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those who voted for Trump.
  Some are apparently “triggered” because they are posting how “sick” you feel about the results.
  How did this happen you ask? Well here is how it happened!

You created “us” when you attacked our freedom of speech.
  You created “us” when you attacked our right to bear arms.
  You created “us” when you attacked our Christian beliefs.
  You created “us” when you constantly referred to us as racists.
  You created “us” when you constantly called us xenophobic.
You created “us” when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.

You created “us” when you attacked our flag

  You created “us” when you took God out of our schools.
  You created “us” when you confused women’s rights with feminism.
  You created “us” when you began to emasculate men.
  You created “us” when you decided to make our children soft.

You created “us” when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.

  You created “us” when you attacked our way of life.

You created “us” when you decided to let our government get out of control.

  You created “us” the silent majority
  You created “us” when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers.
  You created “us” when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors.
  You created “us” when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.

You created “us” when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn’t remove your hat during our National Anthem.

You created “us” when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.

        And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up.

  And we did it with ballots, not bullets.
  With ballots, not riots.
  With ballots, not looting.
  With ballots, not blocking traffic.
  With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of “us”
  “YOU” created “US”.
  It really is just that simple.

Circular Evolution

Immigration is a touchy issue. I am reading a book titled Texas which chronicles the history of Mexico and Texas. I am at the section of the book which deals with Indians. In the beginning Indians owned North America, but they were invaded by immigrants from all sides. White people looking to live free came from all over Europe to settle in a place where there was no Prince or King to tell them how to live their lives. Land was plentiful and free. At first the Indians allowed them to live with them, but then the whites came in greater numbers, and they began forcing the Indians out of their territories. As time went on more and more people came to North America to settle in a free land. Indians were forced westward out of their land. They resented it and fought back committing terrible atrocities as was their custom. They fought as Indians knew to fight. The whites thought the Indians were being savage. They were merely practicing their customs.

owi30.jpg~original.jpeg

After Texas separated from Mexico and became a state there was a problem with Comanche Indians. The Comanches had been moved from place to place several times and they were pissed to have to move again. They refused to do so without a fight Comanche style. Whites flooded into Texas from the north and east. Mexicans came in from the south.  It was a Comanche custom to kill pioneers or anyone who infringed on their lands. They had a notion that to be killed by a Comanche was an honorable death, therefore, a pioneer who died a very slow death by torture made it even more honorable. This custom did not bide well with white people. Another custom was to kill the pioneer family except for one, usually a young girl or woman. They then used the white girl in negotiations with the white man, The problem was how they treated her before the negotiations. The opportunity for negotiations with the whites could take years to come about. In the meantime the girl was a sex slave to the young bucks of the tribe. Another custom was to torture the sex slave by slowly burning their ears and nose off.

As I read this horrible treatment a thought came to mind. At this point in history we, meaning you and me, are the current Indians of the United States. We are being invaded by immigrants namely Hispanics, Asians, and Muslims. These people also have strange cultures and customs. The Muslims probably have the most of any, like be-heading, stoning, genital mutilation, honor killing, and many more.  At this point in history we probably don’t have much to worry about, but as the immigrant numbers increase and the number of communities we refer to as no-go zones grows, the foreign cultural practices will become more openly practiced. Will it ever come to the point of us having to annihilate the source of the trouble? I don’t know, and won’t live long enough to find out, but my take on the matter is that the problem is best avoided by keeping the influx of migrants to a trickle. Once the population of people with strange cultures grows beyond what we can control the problem becomes huge.

Well, you say, we have laws to keep people from walking all over us.  What if one of the strange cultural differences is a set of laws they believe over ride all the laws we have on the books? Sharia law is such a system. Ultimately, when a migrant population that won’t assimilate reaches a point they can move the home team out, they will insist on imposing their will upon the others. The battle that ensues will be called genocide by both sides. If the home team loses we will have completed a full circle of evolution from living in a closed society to living free, and revert back to a closed society.
