Our reps don’t even read them. As lawyer as they are, they don’t understand the damn things. Have you read HR3200? I have. I would rather pick up a book by Socrates in the original Greek. I would understand more.
I believe that bills written by common folk in simple english would make better sense.

That’s the paradox of politics. We don’t want lawyers to represent us, but the main job of Congress is to write laws.
